Barn, with respect to the rounding the keeper... I couldn't help but laugh! Normally I get annoyed when I miss, but that one... I'd either laugh or cry! From the sublime to the ridiculous within the space of five seconds!

I'd also like to highlight the worldwide conspiracy to stop me scoring free kicks, I haven't had one where there wasn't anyone on the line yet the moment Fab and Barn step up they stand around like lemons! Even against the same team!

To be fair I had a low drive last night that appeared to be blocked on the line. The second one I hit the bar with, so my free kick accuracy appears to be improving.

I think the better option would be to get Barn or someone standing just behind the wall and then chip it in to him. We've done this before and it's worked well.

You've got to try the Zuboronovic technique if it's near and will be a shot at goal. Try to intercept the ball just as it goes past the wall. However, this could go horribly wrong if not done properly.

I enjoyed last night's matches. We played some neat football. The passing and movement amongst the front three was especially good.

The final game that ended with us losing 5-8 was incredible. We had at least twice, possible three times the amount of shots than they did, but they countered really well. They got some lucky bounces around the box, though. Even though I didn't get a good rating, I felt like that was my best performance. I felt like a proper deep-lying playmaker, passing the ball and running into space, looking for a return.

My long range free-kick and looping goals. :smug:

Sorry I blocked that one on the line in that match, I was trying to get out the way. Really I think we weren't meant to win that match, everytime we got close they would pull further away.

Yeah and I'm sorry for blocking your shot from about a yard in front of you Barn. They ended up scoring a few seconds after that unfortunately. :doh:

You blocked another one in the final minute of a win too Phats, not sure who from though.

Oh and as I alluded to last night - the move where I broke down the left, you were totally unmarked in the middle and the pass I played to you was average: I didn't want to risk playing crossing it to you in case I overhit or underhit the cross so played that rubbish low pass instead. You still scored but obviously I could've made the chance a bit easier had I gone with the slightly riskier route.

my apologise to you all, couldn't do anything at LCM, not nearly fast or fit enough (yet) the positives some more good goals, good moves an some good performances (both individual and team)
