Unfortunately, I have to disagree. I played really rather poorly, I rarely managed to get involved in the games and then when I did I either chose the wrong option or failed to execute it properly. This lead to me getting progressively frustrated, this did not help.

Other than that I thought the team played well, Gin and Carlo were tight across the back four and Red and Berry were strong in the middle. Phatmann, Fab and Sweey were doing as well as they could with me doing my level best to sabotage any decent attacking play. I expect it all got better after I left.

I won't be playing tonight, hopefully my internet connection will strive to reach the heights of crap rather than utterly woeful by Sunday.

I must apologise for being shit last night. In particular, I must apologise for relaxing way too much when connecting with a ball four yards out and slightly beyond the far post.

I was caught between tapping it in and dribbling it in so stopped sprinting and tapped shoot at the last second, hitting the post. Now in part I had the dilemma because we were 4-1 up and it was late in the game but still, ridiculous miss so apologies from me.

Well, the team are benefiting from the return of long-term absentee Matt Connolly, who was stretched off in only his third match for the club.

He will be making his return after almost three months out tonight and will hope to fight his way into contention for a regular starting berth at the heart of the back four.

Basically, don't be a centre-back as I want to play (and I'm pretty sure Berry has the other one nailed on).

I won't be getting home until gone 10pm tonight, as I'm spending three hours being told what a PS/2 connector is and other such nonsense.

I'm cool with the late shift.

I also think I'm a bit better than I was during my debut shift. My Virtual Pro's stats are a little higher than 'default,' too - given that when I first played online with you lot I don't think I'd done anything with him except run about like a lunatic in the arena.

Ezio - I was kidding as far as the defending goes. I am awful at the game and they will pick you ahead of me at the back on any given occasion. Although as Berry isn't about (because he's a small girl and goes to sleep at about 7:15pm ;)), we might play centrally together.
