Needed: Two more individuals who are good on ANY and don't mind being ANY on a regular basis.
Gin is our main any and BarnDoor, Phatmann, Original?, Dragonfly and Berry are all capable as ANY to differing degrees but obviously don't like constantly being ANY. As a consequence, we need more. I'm frankly shit on ANY and seem to get worse every time. I'm sure some of us remember my first three/four games ages ago were fairly decent.

It wasn't case of everyone leaving last night, as much as nobody wanting to play. Heavy Rain, Call of Duty and FIFA Ultimate Team (What is this crap?) all conspired to lure people away from the dressing room.

I am sure if we put the word out for someone to be our No1 'Any', we should find someone. To be honest, Gin told me he's got bored of being 'Any'.
I had seen there's a recruitment section on the Fifa10 forums, possibly someone could post in there for an 'Any' player that is regularly on Fifa... and is good at the game of course. Put down all the benefits on joining our club etc - if there are any.

Well we only let him play because he's half decent on ANY!
It's a good idea but my only concern with it is the name PESGaming, we have a fair few people who aren't members of the site already. We usually have an ANY online most of the time, if there are a couple on we can then rotate so that we don't have one person getting bored of it?

I agree, if we're to go around different websites and recruiting, they must become a member here and make a half-decent contribution around the main sections here. No good, for the benefit of the forums or the Club, if we do sign someone up who's a quality Any, signs up as a member here and only posts once or twice, if that.
I think the rotation suggestion sounds plausible, I'm happy to play a game or two for the team, as long as there are a handful of us are up for it aswell.
The main thing with Clubs is that we have a good time while playing, and by the sounds of it Gin hasn't really been enjoying playing Any recently. Mind you, I'd say he's the best and most consistent player we have when Any.
Oh and...
I won't be on for Clubs tonight, guys. Watching the England match.
A good night last night. Seven games, seven different ANYs, no defeats. Of course I'll probably get destroyed if we play tonight and I'm ANY again but oh well...
Two particular games I enjoyed - the 8-3 win where I got a goal, 4 assists (two or three from crosses) and missed an open goal from a very dodgy angle and the (5-2?) win at the end where I got three more assists, two from crosses.

You say that but you looked rather assured at the back in your game as ANY, there were only two games where we kept a clean sheet 4-0 with you on ANY and 6-0 with me on ANY... well until they quit but considering they'd had 1 shot on target in 70 minutes I feel confident in saying that I could have held out.
I think I played well on ANY (though feel free to correct me if you feel different) when there were five of us and I don't mind doing a few games if the connection is okay.
It was a throwback to one of my decent/good ANY performances but the last two thumpings we got with me on ANY (7-0 and 8-1 I think) are still fresh in my mind.

Barn came online and fucking dominated in that 1st half of the first game. I thought; thanks Barn for making me look shit up front. Well played big man. I usually play up top when you're not around, but always happy to give way.
I would say both Sweey and Original were great on Any. Xlivix on the other hand, a bit too risky in my opinion.

Cheers Fab, but usually games like that only come about so often for me. I only play up top because I'm pretty much a liability every else due to lack of pace, and can win the knock downs for DC, CDR and Phat. I'd be happy to take another position if people really had a problem with it.

It feels like ages since I last played a session with you guys. Team play has just started to bore me. i much prefer 1v1 but again, that has lost its appeal.
I think i'm all fifa 10'd out. Might do the unthinkable and trade it in/sell it on ebay and put the cash towards a World Cup 2010 preorder, I'll get more money for it now that later.

Shame I could only be around for 1 of the matches last night; I had just started an online head-to-head UT match and I got a msg from Fab (thanks for letting me know man) as I was like 15 mins into the game. I don't like quitting so I had to carry on.
Definitely around for plenty of Clubs this weekend. Hope everyone else is too :thumbsup:

I got so annoyed at one point I nearly broke my hand on the drawers in front of where I sit... then bounced the controller across the room later on. I think this game could give me high blood pressure.
For fuck's sake! I'd finally got my router to sync at a lower speed and give me a smooth connection... I just checked it now and it's reverted to the higher speed which would explain why my connection was as shit as ever again.
