I hope you have a good FIFA10 brain, because your pro will be quite poor in comparison to the others who've had theirs developed for months. A lot of pros seem to be very strong, physically.

At least he'll be better than one of the default defenders though. There's one we get sometimes who has overall 33 and is 5 foot 7 and he plays centre back.

A decent run of results tonight. Highlight of the night for me was the counter-attack where Original? fed me the ball not far outside our own penalty area and I dribbled the length of the pitch to lob the goalkeeper. The 6-6 draw (where we were 2-0 down then 6-2 up before having a man sent off) was pretty special too - I had a goal and three assists by half-time...but a rating of 8!

why didn't my wee guy jump when i was on the line ? if that was pro i defo woulda headed it off the line

lmao when you went " mullet boot it " i thought you were saying leave :p..id no idea my back passes to the goalies was an issue. I only done it as i was scared my wee guy would be that pish to try and play a pass that could be cut out which would lead to a goal. I'll simply boot it too fuck from now on if there is no easy passes available

any tips on how to get my wee guy better ? should i start a new season with celtic and sign / play him ?

Most of your backpasses were fine but it does generate pressure and you don't know if the guy on ANY has lag - if he does that's troublesome. For that reason its best to do it only when you really have to...occasionally the goalkeeper can screw up a backpass too.

Start a Manager Mode or Be A Pro and use your guy. He can be part of the Celtic squad in MM. What you might want to do is play in midfield until he improves all round a bit more before focusing solely on defence.

When playing Club games and getting the ball at right-back, look for a runner on your wing (usually me). There were a few instances tonight when I was ready to receive but you were under pressure so checked back. Totally understandable given your guy isn't great yet but something to think about.

You did well overall and I'm sure the guys on ANY - plus me when I was ANY earlier - appreciate a helping hand at the back.

Mullet, all you need to do is not dwell on the ball for too long. If there's a pass on just give it quick and if not, don't be afraid to punt it up top. We have mostly pacey attacking players and some who can get a good head on it, especially if we're against random generated players.

Another thing about the keeper is that he doesn't seem to be able to kick it much farther than just before the halfway line which often puts us in trouble.

Great goal-line save by the way. I was certain that was going to be a goal and couldn't believe it when you managed to block it.

I'll be on tonight for a little while at least.

If I'm on any I'll try not to lose 5-3 after leading 3-1 :faceplm:. I know I pass it around at the back more than most of you are probably comfortable with for fear I'll screw up just like I did for one or two of those goals last night but I'll get the balance right eventually.
