There were some very good performances last night, though I feel it tended to be individual performances and as a whole the team struggled to get any rythm. Gin and Phats were good at Any, as is usually the case. I was annoyed in the last game that me, Jonno and Red played, losing 4-3 after a ridiculous second half. This is why I don't play on Any, it's not good for my blood pressue! :realmad:

Glad to make my return last night, even if it was only for one match. My internet managed to hold up okay with only a small amount of lag, and considering there were 9 people connected that's no cause for concern.

After that last match with me, Original and Red, when one of us disconnected, I got a message off one of their players, calling me a dumb twat. I replied today, telling him to die of cancer, and then he sends me two back, the first saying 'wtf?' and the second, 20 mins later, saying 'I have cancer', with an unhappy face smiley.

Of course he's probably bullshitting, but if not, good.

Sorry about that last game it was me who got disconnected, which was odd as it signed me back into the EA servers straight away.

Let's hope he wasn't bluffing! :)

[edit] Tonight we are playing fantastic football and thrashing the opposition and for once my connection was pretty great! Then I get disconnected as I now find out that they've decided now is an apt time to do maintainence at the fucking exchange! I wouldn't mind if it wasn't the best Fifa session I've had in quite a while or if the connection would be better in the future but you know it won't be!

We were 2-0 down, got it back to 2-2, went 3-2 down... then we turned on the style... 6-3 up!

Then we conceded three stupid goals to draw 6-6 all, including bringing the goalkeeper outside the side of his eighteen yard box before drilling the ball to their attacking midfielder for an open goal. Then on their last counter attack... Bez slid in from a stupid angle to give away a penalty for their equaliser.

Infuriating.
