Man, you may have been free but it's still riskier to whip the ball in. If we're three up, fine. It seems you havent been on the end of the ridiculous goals in stoppage time, clubs GKs are renowned for this shit. It's definitely prudent to try and just kill the game off in the corner than go for more goals at that point, especially if the opponent is decent.

I think we can all agree that if we err either way, it's usually on the side of attacking! Haha! We're in good form at the moment, hopefully we can keep it up!

We've had major changes in form before now. Thnigs are going very well for the moment but we could be one point off the title with the max. possible number of games left and still miss it. Until Bosingwa appears, I don't want to think about it.

Same time tonight? I'm not watching Dortmnud-Real.

Yes same time. If we blow it we'll just blame whoever wasn't on last night if they show up (Joel, Jonno, Iron, and so forth).

That 5-0 game was one of our best performances in a long time. I don't think they were a particularly bad outfit either, we just made them appear as such.

I can't think of how it could have been any worse. Six wins in a row for the season, start the night with the seventh playing as well as we had the night before despite personnel changes, Phats and DC (who had been present the previous night) arrive to cement what is an amazing opportunity to win D1 with two points needed from three games havnig....then we do THAT.

I stand by one thing I said last night: for the final game, anyone who hadn't been on the previous night should have left. Clubs is for everyone but we had this one amaznig chance to win the divsiion, eight players wasn't working last night and so the chance should have been offered to those of us who had done so well the previous night to take the last chance at getting the points needed; it isn't as though we hadn't already had two attempts and royally fucked them up.

Winning division 1 is not easy - eight wins out of ten or seven wins and three draws. Some of the games two nights ago, like the consecutive 1-0 wnis, were down to some fantastic performances where we knew when to attack and when to defend. A coulpe of the teams we played that night were far better than those from last night. The 5-0 from Tuesday night was a particular highlight as we just blew the opposition apart.

Was nice to end last night with an emphatic win. Let's hope we can use that as a platform to shake off our poor performances of late and get back to the way we were playing a few nights ago.
