Yo me it's no diskussion regarding Napoli and Palermo. Napoli has more history with better players than Palermo!
Just choose Maradona vs Miccoli or Ferrara/Krol vs. Zaccardo/Barzagli
For me it's Napoli all the way. But the positive with Palermo is that you get a squad with half of the players with preset faces because Palermo is a relativly new club among the top in Italy so the best players of Palermo history is still in the game!
With that being said choose Napoli!![]()
Dude, let me explain my opinion. Maier is one of the greatest GKs of all time (best GK in the 1970s alongside Zoff) and also Kahn is one of the greatest GKs (definitely the best GK of the 2000s). But Kahn has some pros that Maier doesn't have. For example Kahn won the CL with a Bayern team that wasn't half as good as the Maier-Beckenbauer-Müller-generation. Also his keeper skills were a little better than the ones of Maier. But the point that I most like at Kahn was his mentality. Kahn was a person who finally gave up a game after the final whistle was blown. Let me explain that a bit:gurkenjoe93
do you consider Kahn better than Maier? dont get me wrong, Kahn is my all time favourite GK along Schemeichel, but Maier was one of the greatest of all time, generally considered the best german GK ever. just checking![]()

Hamburg, 19th of May 2001. HSV vs. Bayern. It's the last match of the season. The situation before the match is like this:
1. Bayern München 62 Points +25 (Goal Difference)
2. Schalke 04 59 Points +28
After 89 minutes (Schalke has won his last game against Unterhaching 5:3) the result in Hamburg is still 0:0. But then Barbarez scores the 1:0 for Hamburg. At this time Schalke 04 is champion (because of the better goal difference). Nearly all Bayern are hopeless now. But one guy not. Kahn still believes that Bayern can equalise it. He takes the ball and motivates his companions again. Then - 94 minutes are played-Bayern gets an indirect freekick. Andersson does it and scores the 1:1.
After the match Kahn said a very important sentence to Ottmar Hitzfeld that represents his moral perfectly: ("Weiter, immer weiter" - Would be in English something like that: Forward, always forward"). Imo this represents perfectly the attitude of Bayern München (also the sentence is a perfect attitude for everybody, even if he isn't a football fan) and this is the reason why I think that Kahn has to be in the first team and not Sepp Maier

Oh yes. But aren't moments like this the reason why we all love football?amazing :crymore:

Btw, just overlooked the teams list and found a team that doesn't really belongs to this "classic" clubs of Europe: HSC Montpellier.
Laurent Blanc is the only great footballer who comes from this club and they really didn't have so many great footballers (just my opinion).
IMO you should replace this club with a German club that really deserves his place here. The "Diva vom Main" (Eintracht Frankfurt) has to be here
Suggested squad for them:
EINTRACHT FRANKFURT
Goalkeepers:
GK: Egon Loy
GK: Oka Nikolov
GK: Uli Stein
Defenders:
SW: Bruno Pezzey
SW/SB: Willi Neuberger
SW: Manfred Binz (needs stats)

SB: Peter Reichel (needs Stats)
SB: Alfred Lutz
SB: Fahrudin Jusufi

Squad looks gut but some of the "replacement" players definitely don't belong to the Eintracht allstarsTsavelas, Gekas & Skela don't deserve to be in a squad with legends like Hölzenbein or Grabwoski
Too bad it's the only way to make a full squad. Only other way would be that a good statsmaker (maybe someone from PSCD) does the stats of the players who don't have ones (especially Huberts, Ehmer & Falkenmayer need them and they must be in an Eintracht allstar team
)
But that's just what I'm thinking. Maybe rebelinho doesn't even like my idea of an Eintracht Frankfurt squad![]()
Exactly!
I have to use players I have or can do stats of that's why the squad is like it is. Just hope someone make stats for more Eintracht players so I can substitute many of them.
Btw to make Eintracht funnier for Rebelinho you might move Andy Möller to them so he at least know one of the players![]()
in fact I know at least one: Cha Bum-Kun. and IMO he should be in B04 (if it were there). and Jusufi IMO should be in Yugoslavian AS, he was most successful in Partizan @"Partizan Babes" generation
Möller is 1904% Borussia Dortmund![]()
Stats: Maybe you should ask at PSCD for them. As they love your faces there too (I hope so) they maybe do your request faster

CF: David Trezeguet (More needed here than in Juve, replace him there with Sivori)
