testing network environment help ps2

attempting to play Pes5 online with the ps2 but having problems

i have
laystation 2
:network adapter
:ethernet cable (2m)
:bt wireless voyager 2000
:service provider with fixed ip address if that make any diffrence?

everything seems fine untill i get to "Testing network Environment"
ive read through some of the forums and have been told it might be a port problem so ive forwarded every port (DMZ) still no joy.

anyone have any idea's?? would be very greatfull

Try fiddling with the settings on the network disk. Make it detect stuff itself.
