Finally got PES2008 online but yet when I click network mode it does the "Testing network envirmonment" and it takes absolutely aaaages! I mean like 5 minutes plus sometimes can be upto and beyond 10 mins! And when I do finally get online its real laggy!

Ive opened ports on firewall and in the router so what gives?

Is there anyway to speed this up? I dont wanna wait 5 minutes plus to get online and play a laggy game!

TalkTalk and the SmartAXmt882, awful combination.

It's exactly what I have. I've had similar types of problems but I never really did anything about them, just stuck through it. I did however buy a Belkin wireless router and have my PS3 at the other side of the house to it, unbelievable, no problems now. Seriously recommend it the PS3 has a great wireless card I think I've been disconnected once in the past month, as oppose to my laptop which is more tempermental.

It won't completely solve problems there is still LAG, but that is unavoidable.

Yeah I know about the awful combo! :p Just that every other game i have is ok? :(

Getting a router from a mate to test see if that solves the prblem if not ill just have to wait everytime i wanna play! lol
