Does anyone know if Konami will be trying to release a World Cup PES Game Edition. It would be really awesome if they had all the international teams on their next release; whether they were licensed or not I wouldnt care. I would be elated if they realeased such a version. Also that would be a major seller too. I believe that Konami has the upperhand over the EA Fifa Games in some areas but the Fifa World Cup version are great because they have qualifications in them too. Any thoughts?

how do you know that you wouldn't like this "game"? you have never played it, im sure if this came out it would be just as good if not better then pes 4.

AND this game probably would never happen.

I for one would be ecstatic if they did, since its the only way Canada would ever be on a game :p

Fifa still has the copyright of the worldcup game. I'm shure that would be impossible PES to have a world cup version in 2006. just my 2cents

Also a bit pointless as they have only a few official National team licenses (South Korea, Japan etc) so it would be a rather bland and fairly unsellable product in my humble opinion.

FIFA don't have the copyright, it's EA Sports that do. Remember FIFA is either a game or the world football organisation.... or is that UEFA?

I wouldnt mind if they didnt have licensed teams. But if they had the qualification and world cup mode with all the countries in the world, it would still be a success. Does anyone know the email of the Konami headquartes? I bet they wouldnt mind suggestions. Maybe they would take it into consideration.

I'd like alot more national teams. The african and asian cups were crap simply because there weren't enough teams. I'd like to see more classic teams in the future and have them based on a pacific period. A France 98 national team would be class on Pro Evo.

The 98 team was definetly a classic team and should be included in the games. A specific year of a world cup or club champion team would be good. The African and Asian/Oceanian cups are dull because of the number of teams.
