Don't get me wrong I don't think there's much honour in the dive neither. That's why I believe if the dive was in the game it needs to be very strict like Yossi said, deliberate dives without contact should be booked. But on the other side of the coin, sometimes when you are running with the ball and being chased, and there is very obvious contact from the defender that slows you down and then the defender gains control of the ball, and the ref just lets the play go on.. In this scenario, I think it would add to the game to be able to dive at the point of contact, but keep in mind that just because you dived does not mean you will get a free kick. It might get you sent off if you dive deliberately without contact to play for a free kick. And I think this is a lesson that the kids playing this game should learn, a deceitful dive will have consequences..

I liked it on TIF where you got booked if you didn't time it right. And maybe it should be an option to buy in the shop. Not a pre-set in the game.

Aye on TIF it was funny, but it wore off fast becuase the other player would do it and you'd get punished. Like Yossi said, it should be hard to do/time so it wouldnt be a dead cert to get a free kick.

It would be a usefull match option to be able to turn it on/off.

You can dive on FIFA '98 (best FIFA game), but it never helped you get a free-kick or penalty though.

Hi guys I am new to these boards and I think diving is complete bullsh!t. Soccer is very lucky to have me as a fan. After watching the world cup i thought it was just a downgrade for the sport. About 90% of the penalties and injuries i saw through my eyes were just bullsh!t. I think diving should be an automatic red card and a fine because it just ruins the spirit and flow of the game. Konami please don't put diving into the game because it would just probably ruin a great soccer game.

PS: I like the streaking idea and stuff like that.

These would make the game real,not that it isnt real already way better than fifa.
Hopefully for the ps3 they will have the emirates and the old trafford extension with everything fifa has then it would be a super game.
Just imagine what the graphics are going to look like and the gameplay.
Cant wait for next year.

if they do add dive, they require you to do perfect timing dives and you can't overdo it, (yes, diving takes REAL skill, think of grosso vs. c.ronaldo), otherwise referee give you yellow card.

Yeah if you fail diving in the penalty area you schould always get a yellow card. But ther schould also be an option to disable diving in online games
