The Emotion???

Super 14 Champions 2006
Whilst playing PES3 does anyone else feel the need to after missing an easy goal yell at the top of their lungs "F**K"??

Or after they hit that aboslute screaming half volley from just out side the range that curls into the top right hand corner, jump up and yell "How do ya like that one?"...

I guess what i am getting to... is does PES3 bring out the emotion for others ion the PES community as it does to me???

(Especially aginst your mates)

Yes it does bring out the emotion. It does really piss you off whenever you lose, especially when it's against one of your mates. Once I got really angry after losing to a friend, I threw my control pad on the wall and it broke.

However, it does have its good moments too. Whenever I beat one of my mates I start to commentate, sing, jump around etc, just to get on their nerves and that's fun. :D

HAHA great post mate, love it. Yeah, i go absolutely nuts when i miss an easy chance.....I do like what a player would do..you know the hands on head pushing the hair back in disbelief and probably exclaim every dirty word under the sun. But its also bad for letting in a soft goal...I'll be thinking you muppet!!!, but when playing against a mate, heheheWOWOWOWHAHAHAHAHAHAAAA that is passion personified....I get really fired up, from the start when the players come out, lined up, i even get a touch of nerves cos there is my rep at stake. And I got this mate who on every version of ISS/PES we have played the England Vs Argentina games, and those games have always been tight. When the whistle goes....its like...concentrate, concentrate, no silly early errors...dont give him confidence....play a short precise game...look for the openings...and and and...slick 1-2 on the edge of the box....the return eludes the last man, ball at feet....just the keeper to beat....shoot....and....................GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR shiteeeeeeeeeeeee, it's hit the bar..he'll be relieved...I;d be pissed off...and the game continues...oh the sheer emotional rollercoaster i tells ya. Have had some epic games with PES, but I'm sure there are gonna be better ones on PES3.

out of all me mates who play pro evo i have been playing the longest and with them are undefeated (even though i stuggle on 4* difficulty)... so they see me as the "big conquest" and going in as the favourite is tough... especially when it is a close game...

LOL! that is realism, but you guys really gloat over your teammates? do you like watch the replay from ALL angles slowly to gloat at him?

Oh yeah, i do yeah....I absolutely milk the replays.....love seeing from different angles, especially if its a cracker of a goal, then yeah, gotta rub it in a bit..but its all in good taste.

I'm still wondering how PES stills makes me sick when I loose and extremely proud when i'm winning, and that's far from PS1 and all the series since the first ISS.

Just the best game I've played.

I used to be quite competative on ISS 98 on the ps1...anyone else? that was the first time I sat up and took note of konami in terms of getting it right when it comes to a football game. I just thought it was genius, cos it played so good, i was stunned....i never looked at a FiFa game after that....it really won me over.

same here mate i've always been "the big one". whenever my mates play me they try just that little bit harder and after a flukey 1-0 win you can see the smug smile start to spread all over their faces until you just want to beat it off, but them your the bigger man, you press play again and beat them 5-0!!!

'AV IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im an absolute nutbag when playing. i wind up my mates and at times ive been close to kicking the shit out my friend.

my friend i sone of those guys who never , ever, deserves to lose, u know the type? u go to match stats etc and u know u out played him and all he does is cry. prick.

i recently broke another control pad playing games, ive went through one on evry machine ive ever owned.

hopefully the control pads will be sturdy at the edinburgh tourny so that they dont break once i smash them into a moaning opponents head.....

no game gets me more worked up than pes, when i lose i am not a nice person :D

ive smashed two controllers literally to smitherines in the months that i had pes2. i even threw a lamp out of my window on one particularly heated occasion

on the same token, when i win i can be seen jumping up and down, fists clenched and shouting at the top of my voice.

thats what i love about pes, the passion for the game. last night for example, i was at my mates and we were playing our master league (both in the same team). twas the division 2 cup semi final 2nd leg, and we had drawn our first leg 1-1, but were going out on away goals. we were getting totally frustrated and thought we were going out when lee chun soo, the smallest man in the world, scored a header in the 87th minute. his parents were in bed (was about midnight) and we actually jumped up and hugged each other whilst screaming loudly :D

hehe, another point, have never had the same feeling when you score a goal in Fifa, its just like...oh...I've scored..and with PES its, YEEAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! bring it on!!!!!!, even gets me to my feet, just like a knee jerk reaction...feels so natural.

Yup, and it gets very hot in a goal mouth scramble.. you keep pressing shoot jumping up and down as if you are clinging on to dear life!
btw at times my stats overraw my m8 in terms of possession chances etc, but they still got a lucky break! is it the AI doing?

I get a bit heated but I win, but manage to keep a cool head when I lose, even when I concede a last minute winner.

when to of my mates played, one is argentina the other italy. Every time they play each other there is always an incident, a sending off that wasnt, a dodgey peno etc. Well when my friend got tomassi sent off for what seemed a dive he was so angry that when the ref showed the red card. He spat at his own T.V. Now i take pro evo seriously and i get into the emotion of the game as much as the next man. But that is a bit extreme!

I am totally here with u guys. Its the feelin of scoring that 89th minute winner in a fast paced game. Or seeing your star striker finally get past the defender who was blatantly on RED ARROW all game wiv a slight nutmeg. I find myself on the edge of my seat or even standing up at tense moments, such as penalties and cup finals as well as jumpin for joy, just like everyone else.

I own every single FIFA since they began along time ago, and dare say i will buy 2004 later on in 2004, but i have never had the feelin of sheer joy... or despair that Pro Evo brings.

I love it, i do, i really love it. Long may Konami continue improvin THE ONLY true football game

i dont get emotion with pes when im playing on my own, the same way that most people dont laugh at TV when they r on their own, but find something hilarious when they are with other people!

when i play pes with my mates and we are on the same team and score, we go mad!
