this is 1 heck of a thread and i know what every1 means (except for the spitting on the t.v lol) i've always been a pes fan and i knocked sum sence in my m8's head. I got him to buy pes's . i lent him the 1st one and he prefered it over fifa 2003 and from then on he bought pes3. Now he thinks hes betta then it at me though he plays on 3* and when it comes to the master cup thing (the 2nd from bottom) he puts is down too 2* just so he gets points!! Whats up with that. everytime i play him he always plays minegames. ANY OF U'S HAVE THAT!!??

Where your m8's are saying shit like "ahhh your not gonna score from there, thats well shit goal, and then u see sum shit they do. GOD IT WELL PISSES ME OFF. I TOLD HIM TO FUCK OFF and during the whole game there was complete silence and it was real tence.

Anyone else get there m8's telling you during the game how shit your doing or done sumthing shit?

Umm, i get competative, but not to the extremes of ending up in silence during the match...be kinda dull, everything's in good humour at the end of it, even if things get a little heated.

Yeh ever since recently starting ML on 5* im getting overwelmed by the players who can get by my all star line up defenders. I can classify myself as like a real madrid...a team who has no problem scoring but...who cannont defend for shit. I really wanna improve my defending..because that's all i think i really need to work on to enjoy this game to the fullest. Most of my comments while defening are like " yeh f**kn right as if you can outspeed carlos", "how the f**ck did you get through 3 defenders" , "thats fu*kn bullshit...as if he happened to be at the right spot"

I don't think it's the AI - it's chance.

The game is so close to real football and just like in real football you can dominate the game but have no luck whilst your opponent can score from their only attack.

I once had a game on PES2; Charlton v Man Utd where I had 27 shots on goal, they had none and they beat me 1 - 0! (Vorlander o.g.).

I was so upset that I kicked both my rabbits around the kitchen and then threw my wife down the stairs - twice.

Yeh thats the thing..most games on 5* i play..they always have possesion around 61% to 39 % i have normally around 8-11 shots on goal to the cpu 3-5 . I just noticed most of the time if cpu makes a shot hits the cross bar and they are losing..almost everytime there will be someone to tap it in..to equalize the score.

It's definitely fun!! For example when u score a goal u can celebrate with ya mate and the good thing is, when u lose, u can always blame him!

But yeah both ways are fun and both on the same team really needs some cooperation.

i hate having someone else on my team, i like it to be in control of 99% of the things my team does, playing a fantastic 40 yard through ball only for my mate to pass it into the goalies hands isn't a good thing for me!

it is good and bad having a mate on ur team... it basically dependall it iws on whether or not they pass the ball much... if they pass it and dont hog the ball it is ohh so fun... but if they do hog the ball it is stressful...

LOL I play with my bro and i swear that gets soooo stressful. It starts of as just a nice quite game untill we let 1 in then the presure begins to build up and then or hell brakes loose. But its fun at the begining

yeh i get the feeling, i was really angry the other day (girls lol) , and then out of nowhere, freedy lungberg threw a stood still bycle kick from 25 yards to the far corner, and i as happy again!!!

i've now turned around on the idea of team mates, me and three mates each contolled 1 player against 3* computer, it was a right laugh! still not as good as controlling every1 though!

I think I've dislocated my shoulder by puching the air too much when I score. In PES2 I did that sliding along the floor on my kness thing on a couple of ocassions. Thank God, no1 was watching.

When I've lost a game with my mates (in round robin tourney), I don't throw a strop, I just spend the time b4 my next game thinking on how Im gonna do better next.

The only time when I got mad over losing was when a mate struck a rising shot that the keeper didnt move for. I thought it seemed weird and also the way it went into the net. I demanded that the replay was shown and...the ball had gone THROUGH the crossbar. I paused it on the moment the ball was actually in the crossbar, rotated the view and told my mate that surely it should not be counted. My mate is a good player but hates losing so he takes whatever he can. He won the game 1-0 and was heading towards the tourney championship. BASTARD. Never have or will ever fall out with a mate over a PES game.

even though i think the goalkeepers are great, that is my one gripe, they are prone to just stand there occasionally. lost 4-3 against my cousin saturday night, (not the one i usually play, his younger brother) and he NEVER beats me, about 6 mins to go my goalie stood there and watched him side foot it into the net!

just kept shouting "YOU EEEEEEEDIOT!"
should've had a peno 2 mins after that aswell, i didn't punch him that time, but if he wins again i will!

well.....mine i think are as crazy as yours.....

i love winning a game when i don't deserve to win...like bizarre goals on the 89th minute cus it's so frustrating for the opponents!!!eheheh!!!but when that happens to me....OMG no one can talk to me on the next game cus i really got to win it!!!!
one day i was playing with my bro and he was playing really well and he was mocking me a lot but it was 0-0 and i had a freekick....and i f*cking scored!!!in your arse!!!--I said.....and he didn't say a thing he just punched me in my arm!!!!!and i was so happy with the goal that i started laughing!!!!!!!!!!
there was other time when i scored a goal that i screamed so loud that the neighbours upstairs got scared...they came downstairs to check if everything was alright....

i really f*cking love this game!!!!
