The End of pro evo?

Pes5 is THE BEST soccer game I EVER played! I've played soccer games since the c64....

Pes5 is playing much more fluid than pes4.... pes4 was the best soccer game.. but pes5 is much better... animations are fluid and the timing of the play is excellent....

Its plays different than PES4, and you'l have to approach it like PES5, not just a PES4 with slight improvements.

Well I felt the same in the beginning, PES 5 is shit compared to PES 4. But now after playing the demo many times, I must agree that PES 5 is better than PES 4. The movement and eveything is more realistic than ever.

Look at the difference between PES 2 and PES 3!
First PES 3 was shit, but when you get to know the game, you knew it was much better then PES 2.

I agree with Zyg, there are times when suddenly your players become retarded and the CPU suddenly becomes super team!!! Almost unstoppable and they score goals that you can do nothing about.

I always thought at the beginning when I first played pes4 that it was better than pes 3..but my 2 friends said it sucked! and after 1 week or so they LOVED it! I think ppl who think it sucks, when they play it the first time are not openminded...

I think that it's ridiculous that people think the cpu cheats,it's just bad luck i think.I beat Real Madrid 9-0 with Man City before,that's how easy it is.

Well, I think there are MAJOR flaws in the game.

(1) The Goalkeepers are really shit*y here. THEY SUCK like a lollipop.
(2) In most games, after scoring, the CPU responds back with a goal.

I may not be a world class player like you but I am an average player. If you ask me I think PES3/WE7 is still the best in terms of gameplay. A truly awesome game. But, PES5/WE9 could surpass PES3/WE7 and PES4/WE8.

Let's see what the full version of the game brings.

I'm not sure what the OP is talking about, I found PES 5 to be more realistic than PES 4. As someone already said, PES 4 was too fast, and in my opinion that mostly had to do with the ability to have practically all your passes be super-fast no matter if your player was in a good position to make the pass you wanted or not.

PES 5 > PES 4

HELP!, im a probably the biggest fan of pro evo in the world. I love pro evo 4 and now i have installed the "obession" patch all the teams, players and kits are updated for the 05/06 season. Ive now downloaded the pro evo 5 demo for the pc and im gutted. The graphics are no better, there are only 2 licenced prem teams and worst of all, the players no longer move fluidly. They seem to move and jerk in only 4 directions and appear to have a deep think before passing or changing direction. It was horrible. Ok so in reveiws people say there are little touches that players now do etc but its hardly worth the "upgrade" as i can keep my proeve4 updated. It was basically my pro evo 4 but with all he smoothness taken out. As my pro evo 4 is up to date i really cant see the point of buying pro evo 5. HOPEFULLY someone can tell me that the demo is just a "work in progress" of the final game and it will be much better when released. If not, roll on pro evo 6 and hope its better. Until then, pes4 is still king.

I totally agree, PES5 is truly awful, I've had Pro Evo's since they were ISS on the PS1 and this is there worst outing yet. The passing is terrible and the shooting is horrendous, that is providing you ever get the oppertunity to shoot. I really hate PES5 and am probably not going to be alone. I reckon many fans of the series will be putting PES5 to one side and looking at fifa, which I have to say I've never done but might be tempted to now. You all say it's realistic, but how many of you sit through a boring 0-0 match on sky tv and think it was enjoyable. I think this is a funless outing that just infuriates and bores the player. I give it a big fat f**king zero

you say I'm childish, I'm bitter if anything, my favorite game, ruined in my eyes. Look I don't want to pick a fight, I just love pro evo thats all and am a lot gutted that it's not what i had hoped for and I'm very sorry for venting my anger straight after playing the demo. As for my username, I've had it for years as have I been a member of this site (used to be under a different name but forgot it when my old pc broke, it was on my old works e-mail too)

or alternatively stay with PES4, no law says you have to get PES5! These are GAMES and you should play ones YOU enjoy
