the first thing you will do with PES3...(help)

Hi folks,

Firstly, this is my first post so forgive me for probably asking a question that has been presented to you all many times over.

Secondly, I am a new user of PES3 (or will be when it arrives in OZ). I've never played any of the following series'. PES/WE/F*FA.

So, to the point.

Q: What is the first thing I should do when I get my hands on PES3? I've read a lot about editing, a little about people's preferred first games and even (dare I say) going into the training mode to get a 'grip' of how the game works.

Please, let me know what you think, or pass on any tips...eg,eg????

Cheers,

Duvel

play it, the best way to get use to it is by playing friendlys, triannings ok, but it not a macth. do a few friendlys then look at the trainning mode for thing that u want to look up how to do. the main thing mate is to have fun with it!

Choose your favourite team. Set up a friendly with your nearest and most deadly rivals (no Milwall unfortunately but Spurs will do in my case) and WHOOP THEIR ARSES!!!

Then you can start worrying about editing, training etc.

i would say if you've not played it before have a few games on as little as 1 or 2 stars on exhibition!!

when i first got the beta the 1st thing i did was train, same with Pro Evo 2, i found them to be so different from the predecessor that i had to train to get used to the new motions

but as i said being a newby you probably wont need that

WHL, if you are into football and intend to play the game a lot, I'd advise you to buy an X-Port so you can download and use option files made by others so you don't have to waste time editing the game and can just get down to playing.

You can start with training to get used to the controls. There's a new tutorial bit in there which explains all the moves.
Play a few exhibition matches on 1* and then as you improve you can move up the difficulty levels. If you can win a World Cup (called the International Cup in the game - look under Cup Mode) on a certain level more than once, you should be OK to move up a level.

Good luck and enjoy the game. Let us know how you get on.

I don't know about anyone else but i like editing the kits and names, it has become like a ritual every time u get pro evo.

Totally agree. It's like a lovely labour of love!

How much does match length make a difference?
None.

WHL, hope you enjoy the game mate. But don't blame us for the lack of sleep - and all the complaints you will get from girlfriend, friends and family! :)
