Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me...... PES community are naive I'm going to be honest and keep it 100:

I saw this coming from miles away and I can't understand why people are acting surprised.
This is just another overcoat how long will they keep covering the flaws? The engine is broken no matter how hard they try integrate, improve and expand the core is broken they need to build from the ground up.

The engine was designed to run on the PS2 and did so excellently and produced the best and most realistic football game to date Pro evolution 6 (WE7).

People are kidding themselves if you think the next gen effort comes even close to the games that were produced on the PS2.
How ridiculous is that when considering the PS3 is 10 times as powerful and gives you options the PS2 does not have.

And please don't take WENB words as gospel the owner of the site is a lowlife bias clown his name is Adam this is the same guy who said PES08 "runs beautifully" and "PES09 is as good as the PS2 games" then he will later contradict himself and say next year is the real deal.......
Watch in a few more months he will do it again.

In all seriousness you can't share your honest opinion I've visited their forum and it is full of clowns riding him and cheering him on with their pom poms pathetic and pitiful some guy got banned for requesting Konami replace the terrible manual passing with the skill system back to right analogue and he said the skills did not concern him and banned him.

His partner though Suff sounds more honest and humble so take that for what it is.

Konami doesn't put food on mine or your table and we don't owe them anything so lets be honest the game looks and plays horribly I could care less about how realistic the player faces are that is just an added bonus.

The game really has lost its magic from the PS2 days.

I dont play PES2009 nor FIFA2009 but in all honesty PES2010 ( from the video that I posted ) looks good to me. How can people not see difference?

proevofan, Yes I saw that video and it is impressive. It is on regular difficulty and yet the AI is harder, smarter and better positioned. The difference between that and pes 09 is clearly visible. I know about the mistake that the AI made when gerrard was clearly in offside and yet it passed the ball to him, but then again it was on regular. On the other hand, when there was that great pass from one side to another. The AI noticed the gap the human player made by mistake (by taking out the wrong player) and the ball was given to him from the air. That was impressive play.
The difference is really obvious. This game (pes 2010) is clearly much better than 2009 from the videos so far.

What I really cant get over is the poeple that call this game shit without even playing it. You don't hear poeple saying this is the best game out there becasue they obv havent played it. So why do people write the game off without even giving it a try? I would like to hear Amateur's views on whats been reveled thus far he always wrote some in-depth stuff when it came to dissecting PES.

By the teams list released it seems that there will be 4 leagues only in ML again...that's it really. I enjoyed PES09 for quite some time, but the same shit over and over again just doesn't cut it.

The gameplay of PES09 was enjoyable, but I'm sick and tired of only 4 leagues in ML, it makes everything repetitive. At least there is a lot more depth this year, but I'm sorry, I want to feel as if my team is represented in the football world. Why can't they just add 2 leagues or something. Maybe they did, but I highly doubt it.

I'll take a guess, and say that the rating system after matches will be just as shite as always, which will make ML pointless again as only attacking players can develop decently. I'm sick of this shit.

Sure the graphics look good, sure there is a lot more depth. But I want to develop my WHOLE team, defenders and goalies included, to superstars. I won't touch, and didnt' do last year, BAL since the rating system is fucked.

Fifa isn't perfect, but at least they don't promise us the world and give us retarded shit. A week ago I was waaaay more excited about PES than Fifa, but after seeing the gameplay movies, it's fifa for me sorry.

^Wel fifa also promised alot of stuff and from the videos, it seems like there is nothing. 360 movement is looking good though.
But I won't bash it before I play it. Same goes for pes. I'll play them both and then comment on which is best.
As for the ML. Be sick and tired all you want because that's it. We cannot do anything about it. Be HAPPY that after all these years, the ML has taken 3 huge steps forward.
Europa league
Champions league
Realistic managment
For me, a years work in the ML with those 3 steps is enough. It's already much better than previous attempts.

No but seriously, I think Seabass will probably get one more year. The community effort started this year, and while the graphics are unbelievable, I think the gameplay will be fully refined next year - complete with community feedback.

PES 2010 looks like its going to be very good overall, but I find myself looking more and more to PES 2011. Not ideal.

Regardless how bad PES is FIFA is still the worst looking piece of shit out there, the players look like they're floating around the pitch and I HATE their collision/turning animations. The shots have always sucked and this will never change because it's built for average gamers who just want to run at the keeper, press shoot and score.

I was just showing a FIFA vid. for comparison reasons on the animations!? Since we've been promised "out of this world" animations for PES this year, I thought it would be good to compare them with FIFA's ditto...
I don't think that the new animations in PES is out of this world - yet! I do, though, think that the animations in FIFA look way better! That doesn't mean it's a better game - and as far as I know - I haven't stated that anywhere!?
So honestly, and once again: What the hell is your problem, with that retarded statement about logging out and never come back?

I think it's to be expected (the slower responsiveness) when we're dealing with motion capture and animations that has to "seam"/flow into eachother. Especially the "seaming" of animations into eachother would by itself require at least the tiniest slowdown in response time, since the cpu would have to calculate your latest move on the analog/button press into the current move the player is making on screen. I believe that is the main reason, why PES has always been so reponsive compared to FIFA, because PES's animations never "seamed"/flowed into eachother. The moment you pressed the shooting button, your player would shoot - regardless of where in his current animation he would be...?
A guess really...

Good post, lets lay off the fifa stuff for a while though, some of the garbage posts in this forum are an embarassment, i can cleary see 360 movement in fifa and can see the difference in animations, mark my fucking words, when you play that game, you will see the little things, like players falling over if they get sent the wrong way by an incivie pass.

Plus other than 360 movement, a ton of changes have been made to the manager mode, which people wont appriciate till they play it themselves, kinda pointless trying to explain this to people who dont actually know what they are talkng about.

So let stick to PES for a bit, and lie about how next gen those gamescom vids looked.

Yea he likes Pro Evo because the players are moving like him,from what I've seen in videos,one player is here now and half second later he ran 10 meters.I don't know but the game is so fast the players are so agitated like some mad people,running in all direction with an incredible speed.

The speed was not that bad. But full judgement can be when they release a captured video not with cameras because they vary in framerate, thus why all the speed issues.

yup that makes sence, which is a good thing really as this should move away from robotic movement...

^But the problem with fifa's response is because of the game reading moves slow. The game and commands you press take time unlike in pes. This ofcourse doesn't involve animations because if it did involve animations, then it wouldn't do it all the time. Even on the menus, fifa is slow.

When i hear people tell me how skilled pes 2009 is, i nearly have a hernia.

The ONLY time pes 2009 is diffcult is when the AI is cheating, thats it, other than that it aint hard.

On pes 2009, On the highest level, i took ronaldinho, from the half way line, into the box.....top corner and cpu defender were moving out the way.

I'm not a FIFA fan,infact I hate FIFA for PC and EA morrons.I want PES to be the king for all platforms,but c'mon let's be realistic,FIFA XBOX360 version is the king and not for nothing,that game really feels like a football game with organic animations and player movements.In PES 2010 I haven't seen a single battle for ball,I mean there's no collisions between players,they're just taking the ball with such easyness from other player.
Man I must stop here because I'm gonna start a classic fight again FIFA vs PES.
