Sorry for reigniting an old thread but I think I've found something quite interesting on the game.
I've completed the game and I am the NYC Don. So basically, whenever I pick up the game I just go exploring for weapons I may have missed, rival gangmembers that are still knocking about and hidden missions that I've heard rumours about.
Anyway, I was in Hell's Kitchen Industrial Park, which is a small place off that massive loop which connects Hell's Kitchen and Little Italy.
I was having a little look around and found two street dealers, one was selling shit ammo and the other was a bomb maker. Anyway, near one of them was a set of stairs which led to a tunnel down below, a sort of sewer. I went down there and there was a guy stood there in one of those smart outfits that the servants in hotels usually where, the smart red shirts with black trousers.
I thought it was a a bit odd so I locked on him and tried to talk to him. It wouldn't let me talk to him and it showed the guy had a rank, similiar to a Policeman, because it didn't show that he was representing a family.
I tried to talking to him but I couldn't, so I ended up grabbing him and punching him. He pulls out a fucking dillinger and starts firing at me and several other of these cunts that appearing from nowhere. I managed to get rid of them and continued to search this tunnel, up and down, searching for anymore. There were loads more.
I just found it incredibly odd why mem dressed as servants, with a rank, wielding guns, were guarding a sewer which had nothing worth taking. Has anyone else encountered this?
