I think im about a week or two away from finishing my epic option file so now is the time to suggest improvements if you want any.
This, in summary, is what i have tried to acchieve;
1) a classic 1990's option file.
2) All countries are represented, about 60 clubs are represented.
3) Serie A is fully represented as it was by far the strongest league with most of the best players in the 90's, La Liga and the prem also have quite alot of teams, there is also classic ajax, dortmund, galatasaray etc.
4) modern stars such as messi and c. ronaldo are locked away in the option file as youngsters, the idea being that they can develop if the player is doing many seasons on master league. Other players have realistic ages, i.e. Zidane is in his prime but maradona is close to retirement.
5) I have tried to recreate retro kits as best as possible but it is not possible to do this with teams that are fully licenced un-editable teams. I also chose not to use the 'other teams' because Konami in their wisdom have decided you cannot play with them in master league!
6) Some players will appear more than once, for example Zola needs to be in the Chelsea team but it seems perverse to leave him out of the strong Parma team of the last decade.
7) I havent done player faces very well, it is not my forte, i will do it but it might take a further week or two.
I should have it out for you guys very soon. Im trying my best not to sing my own praises, but this really is Pro Evo at its best!!!!!
