The Guide to Make Your WE8 DVD to CD

Download mxs_Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_PS2.rar whcih is attached.

Download that.

Use this thread to make an ISO of your WE8 DVD: http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=13882

You can now patch your DVD, if the patch is a DVD patch, but if it is a DVD Rip patch, do it afterwards.

1) Extract all the files BUT dummy0.dat from the ISO with ISOBuster/Apache.

2) Extract the files from the rip kit into the smae folder as you extracted the contents of WE8.

3) Run Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_Rip_Engine.exe and press DVD / ISO.

4) Then the game should start ripping, it will get rid of most of the commentary, and make the quality of the menu go down. This will take around 30 minutes according to your PC specs.

5) Open the new iso you got on cdmage, open as mode1/2048, and choose to save it as a mode2/2352.

6) Now you can apply you DVD rip patch, if you haven't previously.

7) Now just burn with your favourite program! Lowest speed.

Now for those who use Swap Magic or CogSwapLoader etc. here is the instructions for the no mod rip kit, which makes the size fo the image smaller than the TOC of Swap Magic.

1) Download SHIN-WE8J.zip which is attached.

2) YOU MUST FIRST USE THE ABOVE METHOD OE THIS WONT WORK.

3) You must have renamed the iso you got from before to bin. Then rename that to WE8RIP.BIN.

4) Extract the files from the no mod rip kit in the same folder as WE8RIP.BIN.

5) Then run SHIN-WE8J.BAT and we should get a new iso.

This rip kits makes the intro video become reduced.

bro...im a lil lost.

ur guide is only to be used after i make a we8 iso using jag87's guide rite? so its actually a continuation of that guide if i were to do a dvd to cd.rite?

in steps 1 & 2 of ur guide, do i extract those files mentioned into a new folder??

yo, very cool guide indeed man.....just one thing though......i have now been waiting 2 hours and the rip seems to have stopped but nothing has happened...what do i do now?
Close down and isobuster the new iso or has it not finished yet???

Well you have to open it as a mode1/2048, if that does not work, do trial and error with the other ways.

Well is your contents of WE8 in the same one as the rip kit. Like the rip kit can not be in another folder, and that folder is in the directory of the rip kit. BTW, you are not talking about the no mod rip kit right?

Is the rip kit within the SHIN-WE8J.zip file or the mxs Winning Eleven 8 JAP PS2.rar and if so what app do u use to extract them??

I have tried the files within SHIN-WE8J.zip file but am unable to open the new ISO with cdmage as a mode1/2048 as it says something about the sector boundary?

This is the first time I've tried anything like this so please accept my apologies - all your help is appreciated.

Hey!
Nice job, but i got a problem in step 3!
I extract the files of the iso and the "mxs_Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_PS2.rar" into a same directory, i click the exe file and when i click the button dvd/iso it give me a error like this:

Code: 
Run time error '52':
Bad file name or number

Note: I have the image of the original iso we8 dvd!

could u help me?

not a dvd??

i loaded my copy of WE8 and opened the dvd decrypter & followed the guide but when i clicked on read ISO..at the bottom its says "DISC NOT DVD".

does this mean my copy is not DVD?? so how do i go abt creating the ISO?? :confused:

I bought it from a shop. hmmm...it cld have been a p*****d copy.. so can it still be done?? i have a bad feeling that its not possible as i read somewhr abt this.

Latest: I got it to work it!!! thanks for e guide ash!

Ok Guys heres what i did! :

I Inserted the we8 dvd backup and made the iso with dvd decrypter !

Then i opened the iso with apache2 and extracted all the files and the folder except dummy0.dat to a folder called "WE8"

Then i extract the contents of mxs_Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_PS2 to the folder!

Then after about 1 and a half hours it made the new iso! 707 mbs

Then i opened cdmage and i went to file and open and went to my new iso in WE8 folder! I clicked it and it said the file does not match the sectory boundary!


HELP!

so far all is working accept the cdmage part.
I cant save, the option: "Save boot image" isnt selectable?
what am i doing wrong?

Using cdmage version: 1.01.5
