how big should the iso file be at the end of the 1st phase (for the people that have modchip)??
and for the people that have swap magic how big should the iso file be? cus mine is only 48KB?!

At the modchip stage it should bge aorund 730-800mb.

Now for those who use Swap Magic or CogSwapLoader etc. here is the instructions for the no mod rip kit, which makes the size fo the image smaller than the TOC of Swap Magic.

1) Download SHIN-WE8J.zip which is attached.

2) YOU MUST FIRST USE THE ABOVE METHOD OE THIS WONT WORK.

3) You must have renamed the iso you got from before to bin. Then rename that to WE8RIP.BIN.

4) Extract the files from the no mod rip kit in the same folder as WE8RIP.BIN.

5) Then run SHIN-WE8J.BAT and we should get a new iso.

This rip kits makes the intro video become reduced.

Did you remember to rename the image as it says above?

for the modchip part I found what my pb was I didnt have the rite version of cdmage so i didnt switch the mode from 1 to 2/2352. Now my pb is that I started rippin the iso for more than 24hours....does it mean that my PC got a very low spec? how can i get high specs? what does it even mean in the 1st place? lol
here is what the window is sayin at the time :

ASHMUFC on the 3rd step for swap magic what do ya mean by ya must have rename ya iso to bin ? is that when I saved my image before in mode 2/2352 on cdmage n get a bin file about 800mb big?

I think I got it to work I aint sure though I got a ISO of 690 MB after rippin my DVD and a bin file of 793 MB . Then following the second part of the tutorial I got a 631MB iso.... I'ma burn it hopin it ll work... thanks for your help so far..

I'm glad that the sizes of images i posted look rite to you , I'm bout to burn it with nero. Is there any good patch for PES4 cus i juss found a site to download PES4 from?

OMG I MA JUMP OFF A BUILDIN! lol
I did all the steps, I had to do that MS dos batch thing cause I got swap magic 3...
I burned the game wit nero at the lowest speed possible (4x) and I put my swap magic CD in my ps2 it got to the screen where it says "load Program[/B]" so then i do that slide tool thing and O surprise the PS2 is reading my CD and it goes to that black screen but I'm sure it sensed I got excited too quick ( lol) n from then nuthin happen ... I dont even get the Playstation 2 logo , I can hear the PS2 tryin to start the CD but nuthin never happens I think my ISO size is fine (631 MB) if anyone can help PLEASE DO SO....

OKAY ASH...I am having major probs with this patch...I am using PereUBUs patch, when do i apply the patch?? Also, why does my rip engine say bad file name?? its the same message evry1 else got...Please make the guide assuming we know nothing abt it...im quite lost 2 b quite honest...i did extract, and it bought up bad file name.HELP

Download mxs_Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_PS2.rar whcih is attached.

Download that.

Use this thread to make an ISO of your WE8 DVD: http://forum.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=13882

You can now patch your DVD, if the patch is a DVD patch, but if it is a DVD Rip patch, do it afterwards.

1) Extract all the files BUT dummy0.dat from the ISO with ISOBuster/Apache.

2) Extract the files from the rip kit into the smae folder as you extracted the contents of WE8.

3) Run Winning_Eleven_8_JAP_Rip_Engine.exe and press DVD / ISO.

4) Then the game should start ripping, it will get rid of most of the commentary, and make the quality of the menu go down. This will take around 30 minutes according to your PC specs.

5) Open the new iso you got on cdmage, open as mode1/2048, and choose to save it as a mode2/2352.

6) Now you can apply you DVD rip patch, if you haven't previously.

7) Now just burn with your favourite program! Lowest speed.

OK, it wrked all well up2 the part were u gtta sve as mode2/2352 it wnt let me, only lets me sve as a .cue file...and thts it...wats rong? I can open it as a mode1/2048, but cant save as a 2352...HELP!

plus after tht...im using swap magic, do i HAVE to do the second prt, or will it wrk without? if i HVE 2, plese xplain a little clearer, wats all the renaming abt??

Ok, so I'm having the same problem as nadvid. I load up the rip of WE8 using the swap method, and all I get is some cd spinning and a black screen. It looks like it's going to load but it doesn't. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks in advance.

Edit: BTW, I'm using a clean rip of the game and I've tried cogswap loader, cdloader, and dvdloader. Do you guys use Breaker Pro or something?
