1. Is it at any point possible to change leagues? (i.e. Serie A to Premier)

You can sign for a team in another league if they approach you. Just a matter of... well, luck, if you want to go to that league.

Anyway, having answered that, I'll do a quick run-down of my start in Ligue 1.

Re-made my last BAL player on 09, a swedish target man/striker. Decided to start in the French league because, well, I just don't dig the Dutch one the other three are leagues I want to progress to when I get better.

Anyway, did fairly well in the scout match and got a 7.0. A few teams approached me but Auxerre was by far the most interesting so I signed for them.

Took me about two months (8 weeks) of training to get on the bench. Once on the field, I scored on my debut.

I kept handing in consistent performances from the bench, eventually leading to a starter position which I salvaged by playing a 8.0 match and pretty much securing my place in the starting line-up for a while.

Halfway through season and I have scored 7 goals (fourth in the league) and assisted 2.

I'm satisfied to see that the teammate AI is much, much better. It seems more equal now and that's what I wanted the most. However...

Ever noticed how the players seem to just walk the ball out of bounds a little too often? Or how most - if not all - aerial through balls are hit so far ahead that the keeper gets 'em every time? I've scored most of my goals through fast-breaks and clever short passing. Only once have I scored on a through ball.

There's things to improve but I'm satisfied for now.

Have been playing for about 50 hours now. Only in "Become a legend".
I never played this mode before and i am surprised how much fun it is.

I started my "career" in the english League as a FF and got fast in the team by scoring a goal in training.

The next season was quit a though time, because i just couldn't score.
After the first season i changed to West London White. This time, it was as hard as before. Although i did not score a goal and the defenders gave me hard time, the game was still fun. Reps. to the Konami team.

In my first Europa League game, i broke the barrier and shot the winning goal. What a feeling.
With a few goals and more assists, my stats became better. I won the Europa League and the FA Cup, winning the Trophy for most assists.

After the first season, i refused the offer to play for Bordeaux and decided to stay another year and keep raising my stats. GOOD CHOICE!

I won the Europa League and the FA Cup another time and finished 6th in the League.
I was already waiting for Pre Season to see, which team would offer me a job.
I got an offer from Real Madrid. YEAH. But the best was yet to come:
Suddenly i was invited for the European Championship and was part of the english team. COOL!
I even scored the winning 2-1 against germany (my home country ) at the quarter finals.
We won the cup against spain and i was blessed with the trophy of best Player and best team of the tournament. (why, i don't know, but who cares)
Since i play with Benzema, Ronaldo, Kaka and Guti and my stats are at 80, it is just a party. SO MUCH FUN!

Qualified for the WM and the CL is in sight. ManU, i am waiting...

Okay, it's getting quite weird to play when all the AI players for some reason always dribble forward and to the side slightly, wherever they go. It's as if they have no control of the ball, it's just two physics meeting. I dread everytime we get a man up on the wing.

And please, please AI, stop overshooting your through passes. I had 5 in a row that went straight to the GKs hands without me even being close.

I hope a patch comes soon that'll remedy some of these issues.

I feel a little weird here.

I did ask for equalized AI and I got it, so I should be happy, right?

Well, the game just got very easy ^^

I got an offer from Bordeaux mid-season in the very first year and I took it, figured that playing with such a good team will improve my stats fast. Well...

With players such as Plasil, Cavenaghi and Gourcuff behind me, scoring is just so extremely easy. I kid you not when I say I've scored 22 goals with a few games to spare. Closest competition for goalscoring title is at 15.

And my player is still only 17 with an average stat at 54.

^Then give tips on how you play?
;)

I don't know, experience I guess.

Let's just start with this:

I'm playing with Bordeaux, in the French League. Basicly, I'm in the best team in the second to worst league. Scoring on any team other than Lyon and Marseille isn't THAT hard since their players isn't as good as say Aston Villa's or Villarreals. When I HAVE been meeting harders teams (Marseille, Lyon, Arsenal in the UEFA Europa League) I haven't scored once, because their defenders are basicly eating me up.

And how I play? Well I usually play my game like a Target Striker. I come down and meet the play, recieve the ball, pass it on to Gourcuff, Plasil, Cavenaghi or whoever is on my side and then I turn around and try to get open just outside the box. After that, it's a matter of composure and placement of the ball. A number of the goals was scored on headers as well.

I do play with boots tailored for Shot Power and Accuracy, speed isn't as important to me.

The key for me is to get open and time my runs correctly. And I'm very aggresive, always working on getting that free space or pushing for the return ball even before the striker has attempted his shot.

Three key words, in order;
Anticipation - aggression - composure

Oh and... all good players have a little bit of luck ;)

EDIT: To simplify the team emphasis... If you're in Barcelona, you WILL have an easy time scoring due to the talent around you. PES10 has made the teammates much more realistic than the 09's version.

One thing is a little bit cheap though.

It is really, really easy to make assists in this game. If you made it down the side of the box with the ball, you're almost certain to reach a teammate with a pass and he'll almost certainly score because he's so open and right infront of the goal.

I try to avoid this, don't like cheap goals.

^Ah, but it's the opposite of last year then. Last year your team mates failed too many chances created by you.

^ agree. Remember serving great passes which they somehow managed to miss. I'm looking forward to BAL this year though - when i get tired of ML at least :)

Yeah well dont keep your hopes up TOO much.

They still miss every now and then and they miss quite a lot from any distance other than two feet away.

^But if you make all these assists, it must be much better than 09 already because in 09, they missed almost every chance you create for them.
