I tried Turning Point: Fall of Liberty.

I didn't really like it, but i kept playing for a bit just to see what the invasion of the U.S by the Nazis, would be like.

BELIEVE
I hope you wouldn't have to button-mash for that event because it looks to last an absolute century. The old "finger in the shirt" technique would definetely be adopted for that event.

I downloaded the "Kung Fu Panda" demo on the Xbox Live Marketplace, and surprisingly enough it's quite an addictive game. Reminds me of Crash Bandicoot in a way, but a more successful new generation version.

ESPN International Track & Field's swimming event used to tire me out. On trapshooting & rhythmic gymnastics I was the daddy.

Since there's nothing much to talk about (so it doesn't need a thread yet), nor is there a general gaming thread, I'll just use this 'un:

Crytek has reportedly acquired the British studio, Free Radical Design, including all of the business and assets. Which means we may see a next-gen TimeSplitters game with Crysis quality very soon.

Cameron Gunn of administrators ReSolve Partners said; “We’re very happy to report that late last night the sale of Free Radical to Crytek was completed, meaning we’ve saved 43 jobs”.

Free Radical Design went into administration at the end of last year, with over 140 people losing their jobs.

True Crime: Jackie Chan edition :/ I can't get excited about a game set in Hong Kong though.

Out of all the announcements at Spike's VGA, True Crime is probably the one I am most anticipating. I know the games weren't popular but I did enjoy them. In saying that, it doesn't mean I am completely hyped for the game as to me, True Crime was the pick of a bad bunch out of all the announcements. All the other ones I was unimpressed with.

Released next month apparently. Heard nothing about it until today. I'm keeping my eye on it.

Will anyone be getting the London 2012 game? I will be checking it out later on but expect it to be just like the Beijing game which was great fun. Looking at the manual this morning there seemed to be a few new events and a new control system so it should be interesting.

Ah, the Beijing game was great, button-bashing fun on the PS2.

I may pick it up while the Olympic Games are underway; a rent from blockbusters perhaps.
