I know, I know! Pro Evo 5 is just coming out of the packaging still but I cant help but wonder...
Next Generation consoles, what will they offer?
Better graphics for sure, but what else for the master league. With improved memory facilities surely we can have all the things discussed in other threads e.g. Career mode, more leagues, more stats, more divisions etc. Although I am going to love this incarnation of pro evo, it is with a tinge of sadness that I learned that the Master League had not advanced. With the new XBOX around the corner maybe they could release an update after christmas to show us whats in store.
What do you forsee as developments for the new platforms???

Well you've made a valid point.. changes to the game apart from the obvious such as speed, graphics and sound.. I think/hope we'll see a massive step up in improvement on the ML game to the PES series.

Konami should first aim towards getting the full licences acquired for the following countries first/premier league divisions.
1) England 2) Scotland 3) Italy 4)France 5) Spain 6)Germany 7) Holland
Then .. they should create a second tier league for each division as they have done with the series.. they could start by at least having 20 in the premier league and if not the full roster for the second division at least 12 teams.

The Idea of Career would be good.. whereas in PES4 you had the option of Match mode players, default mode players, and create your own it would be great to literally put yourself in the game as a Player/Manager.. with your career starting out on the field and when your playing career finishes you are appointed manager of the football club.. alternatively in the classic mode its similar to the way were now used to playing where you controll play as the team your in charge of and don't appear on the actual teams roster.
Other changes would be improved computer AI with trade dealings .. more offers from bigger clubs on transfers when your building your squad and improved monetary value.. £$ instead of points.
Managers and coaches on the sidelines barking instructions at the players on the pitch.. players warming up with tracksuits on and the referee's consulting they're assistants on potential match changing decisions. The Commentators should also improve their AI .. If you've just signed Defoe from Spurs and your Arsenal he should be mentioned if he's making his debut or not.. when you play against Spurs in the league at White Hart Lane .. defoe should be booed or applauded depending on the fans and the players status.. on how he left the club.
I'd definately like to see improved CPU AI.. they should make shrewd decisions with the teams.. The Cpu always plays its strongest side.... during league cup games the Heavy Weight teams should draft in a few youngsters to help them through the season.. at times its like the cpu doesnt have to cope with fatigue at present they are only missing if banned, injured or away on an international call up.. which is crap as well because England Wouldnt call up Scholes to play against France while a premiership match is on in the same weekend.
All these changes should be possible in the new game. Thats without going into flicks and tricks for the players .. theyre emotions and theyre stats being improved.

yes.. as the new gen is round the corner... i wld definitely hope that konami make improvement to their already near perfect game.. as they had already squeezed out the limits of the current console... i hope to see them squeeze the new gen console in near future...
juz like red devil pesfan suggested... we can see managers shouting instruction n players warming up instead of juz empty benches.. but unlike cut sences as too much will eventually slow down the game by alot...
another thing hopefully to b indented will be to see konami setting up a more detailed stats for the players(eg. pass completion) with the new powerful console.. as when new pes are launched... we always see new licenses being aquired n breakthrough this instalment with 2 premiership team... after a huge leap frm pes4 to pes5... i believe we will all expect a super solid new pes on 3rd gen....

I Say: Yeah.. he's my idol/icon.. it says so on my profile..maybe England will win the WC?.. but i think we better get to the WC finals first Mate!

What I would like to see , is inclusion of on the pitch sounds.

Right now, if you pick to have friendly in training ground, there will be no sound at all, except the sound of ball being kicked.

I mean, in real match, palyers would be cqalling for the ball, managers houting instructions etc. Should ahve an option to mix these ambient/ball/crowd sounds better.

After all in this generation, it should be in 5.1 audio already.
