oh is it the vid with Rooney in it? I've seen it before and it was clearly a cut scene. It was even poorer than in game footage of PES 2. Whoever said it above, I agree the player models are just out of proportion and WRONG! Some look like chimps with their long arms and short legs or really fat heads etc...

I cant see why they would bother with versions of PES on older consoles, but can u rember EA released FIFA titles on both PS1 and PS2 for a few years so anythin could happen

As for the PS3 launch, some people say spring others say Christmas 2006.....the christmas option is most likley at the moe. Nothing is comfirmed

I don't think it'll be as late as Christmas 2006! Surely not because Microsoft will be laughing at Sony while they watch their bank balance roll up because they're selling so many of their new consoles!

Hope the next PES for the next generation of consoles isn't released for XBOX 360 first!

It is in-game footage. EA confirmed it as they presented the video. You can tell it's in-game footage anyway as it's not good enough to be a cut scene. Player models look shit, but the crowd looks amazing.

Actually, they'll make losses on their console. It will be the software they sell that will make them the money, however if people buy the Xbox 360 to tide them over till the PS3 then the Xbox 360 will make very little money.

that is not in game footage ea are a bunch of liars anyway if it was in game footage the gameplay would have to be on rails for you to do the stuff happening in the vid.

It may not be in-game GAMEPLAY, but it is in-game GRAPHICS - 100% confirmed. The graphics are in-game....I doubt the actual video is in-game gameplay as it seems as if it's just motion-captured players.....
Never the less, it is in-game graphics....and it's nothing yet. Games always get better in graphics as time goes on, so imagine what FIFA 2008/PES7 could look like!!

Anyway, who gives a flying fuck about graphics? FIFA should sort out it's ever-improving if still shit gameplay first and Konami better pull the collective finger out their fairytale ass before PES goes down the plughole. It gets worse and worse.

Hah....I'm just just mereley standing up for the sake of next generation consoles and what they're capable of - NOT FIFA! I havent played a FIFA game in 5 years!!! Actually - I lie. Last FIFA game I played was when I went to the 'PlayStation Experience' at Earls Court in London like 2 years ago. And that was a demo....and that was for like 30 seconds. I put down the controller of boredom, and lined up in some big hell-of-a queue to have another go on Pro Evo 3.

every year people buy fifa in hope that ea has turned itself around but every year it turns out to be shite. you're better off sticking to the good old PES - consistent, responsive and not made by canadians...long live the japanese
