The most important thing for me to change for pes5 in master league is that when you are trying to buy a player and dont get him, it should tell you why you didnt get him, eg wage, transfer fee, contract length, club status. It was soooooooo annoying when you spent weeks trying 2 get a player and it doesnt tell u why he wont come.

The other teams buying classic players was very gay, just 2 unrealistic.

yeah i hated adriano getting worse.after about 3 seasons u can get far better players.

does anyone know if theres a list of records for your squad in ML where it records ALL of their goals, not just they're league goals?? that well pissed me off because when you looked back on previous seasons it'd say one of my midfielders only scored 3 when i know he scored three in the league and another 8 in cup competitions!

any info would be much appreciated!

Yip lots of improvement needed to keep us happy. Has anyone seen the career mode in 'This is Football'? Fair enough the gameplay is pretty crap, but the career mode is excellent. Starting off with school teams and working your way up - add that to PES and you've got a winner. They should have the option to move on to International management after you are all conquering and put in the proper qualifying rounds - imagine starting with a school team working up to International level - that would keep us happy for a good long time!

Adriano does get better in WE9's Master League.

In fact, he has one of the highest ability curves for a striker in the whole game. The only players who compare (in terms of potential growth) are; Fernando Torres and Gilardino.

tell you what just spent about half an hour reading everything and just amazed me that they is so much what could make the game even better than it is, i don't know if it was just me and i stupid and just couldn't tell that even tho the season went on and the games came to 90mins none of my players tired really bad like no matter what my strikers were fast till the end whistle, i think it would make pretty good if they started to tire when the game went on or like at the begginning of the season not as fit as in the middle of the season and stuff like that, and i defo agree with the tranfers when they didn't tell you nothin of y they didn't come just tht they didnt come and then u had to find someone else, how the hell do you know wen or how to buy them i top of the top devision and i still cant get all the players i want and stuff donno come on want some more ideas comin i likin it maybe they'll look and see lol

I think they certainly need to sort out the depreciation of players , for example I was doin' a ML with Brescia and I part x'd Di Biagio (who was old and on the slide) for Michael Essien (young, already better and on the up) and didn't have to offer any additional points ...... how realistic is that ???

Well thats unrealistic.. but part of that is cpu AI.. When you win the treble on PES .. you can go and aquire anyone you want.. so for instance.. I was Utd.. i could go and prize Terry from Chelsea.. now in all fairness., Whats the likelihood that a Team would let one of their best players go to a title rival?
This and the monetary issue needs to be sorted.. like .. what if in the options screens.. you had options like for instance:

Commentary Language: English/French/German/Spanish/Italian
Currency: PES Default(points),Euros,£ etc..

Ideally I'd like the stats to be better.. with a small personal info screen for the player.. where his Age and Name and Current Wages and value are.,
In ML I want to buy Shevchenko from AC Milan for £38 Million not 20,250 Pts.. If konami want to perfect their series I'm all for changing and tweaking the gameplay and adding little tricks but they still need to work on the fundamentals of what goes on in modern football.. and the basic transfer system in PES isn't set up properly at all.

Also I think that dependant on what team you're controlling should depend on how many pts ( cash ) you get to reflect gate receipts etc....

So , for example , if you're Brescia and you buy Baumjohann when he's young but he gets really good , his wage demands should reflect his ability and so you may need to sell him to AC mIlan or Madrid etc cause you can't afford to keep players like this .... like Parker and SWP to Chelsea .....

I also think that you should be able to move clubs ...... get offers from bigger clubs if you do well or get sacked and manage a lesser club if you're not doin so well.....

In WE9 the tire a lot faster (and there are ppl who are up in arms over this) and they're wishing that it was back like PES4.

Yeah, I agree with you that to an extent a reason for negotiation breakdown should be shown. Players come to you based on you team and league reputation. In game this is shown as the League/Team WEFA ranking. I have never had problems getting anyone to my team. Sometimes in Season x they refuse, but I appoach them again the next and they're happy to come.

Yeah there is. At the end of the season the show you total goals I think. But normally its seperated by the various competitions. You can switch by using L1/R1 or L2/R2 I think.

I think there used to be an option where you could control for the use or non-use of retired players
well I'll be damned but I can't find it on we9
real madrid just bought tostao..that shit is just not fair cos I wanted to play a 'realistic' league this time around
I guess if you're a purist, then don't unlock any classic teams or retired players on the same option file as your ML
I may just start over and build the default team around francescoli
a word to the wise: if you want to play against some of the all star teams in the pre-season, they pretty much all consist of the same classic players so don't waste your time playing more than 2 or 3

one master league feature I liked is that you seem to be able to change the difficulty level before a new season

One question: Do players like Ronaldinho, C.Ronaldo etc actually stand out in your team? I mean like in PES4 I could have a young Fabregas and Rooney in my team and I couldnt notice any drastic difference in quality.

It don't know really. It depends on your style of play perhaps. If you do play to these palyers strengths, yes they make a difference. If you expect them to be wizards, no.

For example, Ronaldinho is great a dribbling and short passing and getting by people. But once he makes contact with a defender he goes down easily. Rooney is totally opposite, skills not too great, but can sustain contatc and hold up the ball.

So if you have ronaldinho in you team, he'll help you open up play but don't let him be closed down. If you got Rooney, he can hold the ball, and also power past defenders, and he wont fall down to challenges all too easily.

What about the teams in a division.
Will you play against teams from all over. Like you'll have to play Barcelona, Inter, PSV, Prag... in other words you can only randomise who is in your division.

Or is it like in PES3 where it is with North (i.e. England, Schottland, etc.)

Or (this would be the best) can you edit the teams in your division, like in PES4 after buying ML EDIT. In other words, can you edit your div. from the beginning or do I have to go play world cup again until I have like 10 000 WEN to have the teams I want???

Actually I preferred random leagus, coz this is a game and I'd like some fantasy element.

But in WE9, you automatically get put in a league containing all clubs from your country. So if you pick Real, you'r league will be close simulation of La - Liga. I Say close, because the Div2 is random so over time, non la-liga teams might get promoted to the first div.

If you want to mix it up, unlock the ML starting teams option. Also, only 4 leagues are simulated, so you might want to mix and match the teams to make sure some of the good misc teams are included.
