I think it looks pretty crap. The sort of thing you watch once, think "oh" and then skip every other time.

And seriously, will the PLEASE put a proper currency in. Even if we just get Euro's and not pounds, I'd be happy.

yes mate completly agree with you that at time its will become teidous.

but at least they have tried and tbh i think its good because when your watching footy on the tv you dont just go straight into footy do ya you get build ups etc and afterwards ceramoneys and other things so for me it is a right step in the direction to realisim.

but yes real money is a must!!

True as it is abit gay when you play people and they still use players who left that team like 5 years ago or watever..

Show me a player that is at a club on PES6 that left in the 2004/2005 season?

I dont see what the big deal is about real currency. Yes it would be better but is it going to change how Pro plays and how you buy in the Master League? Not 1 little bit!

real currency adds to the realism, I personally dont care about it and would rather have more teams or whatever but surely it couldnt take much extra time or effort to add a pound sign or euro sign

I agree that currency is perhaps less of a priority but I think people just assume it would be so easy to facilitate that they want it done now. Personally, I'd be happy spending 15,000 points on Messi if it meant he played like Messi rather then him costing me £30m and he played like Steve Bould!

With Leipzig less than a week away now news on our beloved game is running dry as the media make their way to Germany and Konami themselves shift focus to the big event. So that being said, the team thought it might be worth dropping an editorial in order to get the viewers up to speed.

Since the first batch of screens were released many viewers have been highly critical of what has been shown so far. I am 100% sure that after the GC Event next week people's doubts about the game will be wiped away once they see the game in action. Earlier in the week we had some Master-League screen shots that received a lot of criticism, especially on our own Comment Board.

To be brutally honest, I believe that some of the criticism is justified. Particularly that aimed at small things like Real Currency and focus on building a better league structure. Obviously until we receive the full features list we won't know exactly how much work has gone into the Master League and structure which is why I am picking my words carefully. It does seem however that Konami have made massive leaps with regards to the presentation of the Master League and attempting to give it a whole new "Community" feel. By that I mean more interaction and cut-scenes of your team during the time spent away from Matches.

The screen shots give us the feeling that Konami have made the Master League deeper with regards to Player Growth, Training, Community, Media Interaction and Player Relationships. We believe that the game will have a more managerial side to it with regards to the Master League. Possibly more involvement of Player Attitudes, Mentalities and Relationships on and off the field. Something off the top of my head now; but in the past I used to build super teams with an Henry and Adriano combo up front, whilst Eto'o and Torres warmed the bench. It may be that doing that now is not advisable as Eto'o and Torres won't be happy bunnies i.e. causing team unrest!

Although many have been harsh regarding the graphics of the cut-scenes, they may well provide a nice change for many fans and i'm sure there will be an option to switch them off if they start annoying you. Until we see the final product we will have to reserve judgment on the graphics, but the Master League cut-scenes do need a some work and polish. Possibly use some generic photo-realistic faces rather than the animated ones currently in the screen shots. I don't mind donating my mugshot to become Castello or Espinas!

so is it not real currency then?what happened with that quote that said it was in euros or was that just a fabrication?like others points isnt the worse possible scenario but using money helps appreciate costs of players, points for me is pointless!!!!

More than having money instead of points. I can't stand having thousands of points and 24yr old superstars willing to win cups and leagues for 600odd points a season, while a 33 yr old who parks on the bench with poor stats earns 1000 odd points a season.

I want PES to make me want to play for 10 yrs. Releasing glamour boys for hard grafters, buying bigger stadiums for larger takings to pay increasing salaries...all while keeping stands packed.

i know what you mean, henry could be a 50yr old 10acceleration and 10 pace rated player but still need 1000points wage whatever that is,wheras some made up young superstar could be on 400

i'm not entirely sure whether the balls will only be able to be used in certain leagues but its confirmed that puma nike adidas & reebok balls are in the game and possibly as there are new branded balls maybe nike and puma boots may follow.

Well that sounds good as long as we can choose those ball for any match, as i prefer the nike ball over all else.

Its a ball. Does it really matter what brand it is? It's not as if it effects the game
