The Official Release Is Getting Closer...

I, for one cannot wait for this, i'm sure most of you will agree. I have been absolutely milking Winning Eleven 8, with the great patches made by the users of here and various other sites. It will be amazing to play this game, (although slightly different) with the English commentary, real kits.. Ohh, it sounds too good .

I never realised until Winning Eleven 8 that sites like this even existed, I came here by complete fluke, I did a Google search for something like a review or something, I cannot remember. This has opened me to a completely different dimension of gaming, I have since bought a DVD writer and bought a Slide Card for my PS2, not to mention the X-Port and various other things I've purchased.

With these, it makes the game undoubtedly the best football game on the planet, it's just a shame that Konami couldn't do this for us themselves, but I'm sure they wouldn't make as good a job as people on places like this could. Anyway, keeping on topic, I seriously cannot wait and I know these last few days are going to be coming by so slowly.

Check out www.PESfan.com on friday, there is gonna be an X-Port/Max Drive file available for the release you have 2 sign up. I think this has a better forum though, it's too hard to keep track of things on there

It's sad that I have to agree with you there, I've really enjoyed these forums but I can only agree with you on what you said. I have been using the Evo-Web Forums more than anything, and I think they've been good. I still do use this one a lot, and it's nice to be able to browse round a few sites as you'll always find they're slightly different.

I'm currently using Scorpio's option file that was released on here about a week ago, but it doesn't feature any kits or anything simular.

Are PESFan aware that the version available for download at the moment is a BETA? If so, then I can't see an option file being made in a day.

Oh well, thanks a lot for the link, will check it out and wait for Friday!

pesfan receive the full game early due their official link with konami (as well as their constant ass-licking in conjunction with no talk on patching). Their option file will be worth a look but I doubt it'll be the only decent one available on release day.

My guess is that the beta option files will work on the full version too. That would make things easier. And I can't wait for the patches either.

I had my expectations too high, and for some reason thought there would be a couple of patches by now. Now, seeing it from a more realistic perspective, I'm not too bothered that there isn't any, I'm sure when they do come they'll be well worth the wait.

Whistle is in the process of making a PES4 file too.
