The ONE thing that will bring all FIFA 09 converts BACK...

I've never posted on a forum but had to say something hoping someone inside will read this. To start with let me say I've been playing football games since 1994 (FIFA International) and moved to the first PES on Playstation game back in the late 90s (when it was called ISS Pro.) I switched to FIFA in 09 So i like to think I know what makes an addictive football game.

The ONE thing I noticed about the recent PES games that i couldn't put my finger on before was the lack of satisfaction when scoring. FIFA had this from Fifa 08-15. It feels REWARDING when the ball hits the back of the net in FIFA and the old Pro Evolution games. I studied both games for a while and realised it was because of the following one unrealistic flaw in PES.... THE CAMERA FREEZES ONCE THE BALL IS ABOUT TO HIT THE NET. (Read it twice) This makes goals feel static and scripted and this never happens in televised football. What makes Fifa feel satisfying when u score is the fact the the camera is constantly moving and zero pausing of gameplay. PES needs fluidity. The instant list of goal celebration commands in the new PES 2016 demo doesn't help this either.

Now that i've said this go and check for yourself. From my 22 years of football gaming....If they change this one thing i don't think many of us football lovers would put the game down. Trust me on this. The new gameplay is great we just need the REWARD after all of it.

Early PES & FIFA 09-14 = Realistic gameplay AND Rewarding finishing.
Those are the fundamentals to a great football game imo.

Let me know if any of you agree after checking. (P.s I will be getting PES 2016 instead of FIFA 16 so i'm back! :D) Thanks

Is that present in PES 2016 as well the camera freezing?

Yes. I found that changing the camera to TV broadcast reduced it but sometimes the camera is too slow and misses the ball hitting the net :erm:

Overall after playing around over 200 matches, I find it has potential to be a GREAT game but the scoring and celebrations are a bit too robotic. Everyone turns into robots when you score and celebrate and thus feels unrewarding. In FIFA, nothing turns into a cutscene... just the camera zooming into people during all play which is amazing, and something Konami needs to copy if it wants to keep buyers.

(P.s hitting the post feels like i'm hitting rubber )
