The size of the PES Database is a shambels

With the fiasco regarding the failure to update all the transfers again. It really hits me how little and how pathetically small the KONAMI PES database is.

Konami are not utilizing their database and community properly. We should have at least double the amount of teams on the game, there is nothing stopping konami from doing 10 or even 15 leagues like how the Portuguese league is setup, with a few licensed teams and the rest generic.

I have no idea why they cant put in a fake German league with fake counterparts of real players like they do with national teams, to be extra careful make the heights different to the real stars but make the stats the same. Theres not enough effort and care put into this.

There is something very seriously wrong at Konami.

They need to build a import/export file system just like seen with the kits for the EDIT.bin so we can do option files. That way even when they do fuck up, we will have option files ready with the squads we need and updated leagues.

[MENTION=192001]klashman[/MENTION] I get what you're saying. Personally, I feel Konami have failed to change with the changing times. They fail to gauge the market expectations they themselves create each year. But at the end of the day, sadly, there is hardly anything that we can do. It is the decisions Konami can make only themselves.
If you can get all big community members (including the youtubers and redditors and all) to make an approach to the Pes Productions team(s?), we may have an answer or something.

I was wondering the same and I think it's simply that the devs want to keep the number of unlicensed teams as low as possible.

... but then again there are the likes of Pabrowiestein or FC HGNSHDULWITZ messing up master league.

The had a fake German league in the past and they was forced to removed it. Its not through choice that they don't have one.

I find the potential to add or forced to remove team/league/cups from the two football games interesting and wish we had a public accounting of them all. I remember a few years ago that EA was forced to not have the acutal teams in their European Cup (aka Champions League); but they had that triangle button option to reseed teams after the initial selection and it automatically brought the correct teams into the tournament. Was a sneaky move.

How can you be forced to remove a fake german league? They add other teams using fake names because they dont have the license, i dont understand whats the deal with bundesliga.

They can also start a kickstarter campaing to add more leagues.
