I dug out Tony Hawk 3 the other day and have become addicted (again). I've just managed to complete career mode with my skater dude - all I need are 2 stats points and one objective.

Very good games though.

Tony Hawk's 3. After that it went overboard in the unrealistic aspects of things. Good ol' 2 minute runs do me. Good thread actually, I might go dig the game out myself, not played it for yonks. My created skater (named Wrigley Edwards for some obsurd reason, and has orange hair)is a master of air time. :happy:

Tony Hawk's 4 for me, though saying that I never actually owned Tony Hawk's 3, so that could well have been better.

Still, I just remember enjoying completing the missions so much in the 4th version, with the pink elephants.

I have Thps2 and Underground myself, but I've also completed 4. Great games, but I haven't really played any other games than PES in the recent years. Underground was superb to me, the level design was just so cool. Underground 2 is utter shit compared to the other games (Just played it for a few minutes anyway). I've never played Tony Hawks wasteland.

THPS3 was probably the best, I liked underground the most though after I decided to forget about 4. Saying that the car/leafblower parts quite frankly, sucked balls.

Underground 2 and American Wasteland were rubbish, rented both and played about 10 mins on both! So glad I didn't buy them.

This brings back excellent memories, my all time favourite is very difficult to decide but I will probably sway to Pro Skater 2 for the simple fact of the level "School". What a level that was, there really was nothing like playing Tag there with a mate, it was incredible. I always used to do the Leap Of Faith at the beginning too as it looked so cool if you did it right. Plus in the missions, I loved to Wall Ride all the School bells. Does anyone remember how you unlocked the Swimming Pool/Gym area in that level ?

Nowadays the games are too unrealistic though, but I did however enjoy Underground. Underground 2 sucked shit to be honest but I bought American Wasteland and was pleasantly suprised.

What game was the one with Venice in ?

The Tony Hawks series is awesome, although I think it is steadily going downhill. Tony Hawks 2 is my favourite. The Venice level was in THUG I believe, which also had another school level. I liked the level in the bullring, which I think was on number 2.

I completed it the first day I got it.

I voted THUG 1 but just as I voted I remembered THPS 2 and that's the best one, by far.. (Even though it was for PS1)

i owned all of the tony hawks games up to Underground 2 which i thought was ok but had gone too weird. It should have stuck to the roots of skateboarding.
