EA have the English license, and the limit other companies can have is 2 teams from each league

That is not true because club football has several english licensed clubs.

I think its only Celtic, Bundesliga & possibly French Ligue1 ...I doubt there'll be more than 2 Premiership clubs...although itd be good if there was...coz I like L'Pools new away strip lol:)

Man U aint licensed mate, and they are one of the top teams in the EPL just now so why shouldnt they be licensed! I'd prefer Liverpool to Everton being licensed aswell!

Easy mate, down off the high horse... I know they are not licensed, if you read the post I was merely extracting the urine out of the guy who posted Manure twice in the same sentence.

The guys right mate. If Konami want the liscenses, they have to negotiate with each individual club. EA's deal only means that they immediately get all the liscenses for the premiership. Because of this deal, Konami have to negotiate each individual liscense. So hopefully by PES6, we'll have the full premiership, it is possible.

As for the bundesliga and french leagues being liscensed, it's very very much a rumour! The confirmed teams are:

Arsenal, Chelsea, Celtic, Rangers, Dynamo Kiev, Galatasaraay, Rosenberg, AIK, Malmo FF, Porto.

All confirmed by the OPS2 magazine.

Rosenberg. AIK & Malmo....they will all be shite....btw whyc ant we edit PES/WE United in WE9? oh and theyre not called WE United....theyre called Lokeren-arent they a Belgian team?

And btw one of the magazine shots posted before the release of WE9....its a list of clubs...and it says full Bundesliga & Im sure it was the same for the French Ligue.

Yeah, I saw that magazine clipping buddy, but the magazine never confirmed that either would be liscensed, for all we know it could have been nothing, the simply called i the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 not thinking anything of it. We'll see though, I hope i'm wrong!

Very true. But the Premiership may have a deal with the clubs that they may only sell their rights to one company, which at present is EA. I'm only discussing another possibility, but it would be great if Konami could buy the licenses individually, as it will help bring an end the EA's domination in this area.

Some of you lot do talk crap!! EA have the license yes, but there is nothing stopping other people buying the licenses as well. EA have gone the easy route with a license covering every LEAGUE which just so happens to involve the teams. Other football games have bought the license and had a fully licensed EPL.

If you cast your minds back, PES never had a license. Then 4 of the Italian teams had the official license. Lo and behold, we now have the entire Italian league licensed. No doubt a similar thing will happen with the EPL until eventually every team in the game is licensed.

Very true and correct, they started with juventus,ac milan, parma, roma and if i remember well from holland they had ajax, and feyenoord, and in the very next release that is PES 4 they had full licenses for Serie A , Eredivisie, and L.F.P(Eventhough they did not have any spanish licensed team in the game!).

But i can`t understand 1 thing why EA even bother to make a new fifa, from the moment that they know that PES5 will beat them easily?
I can not imagine someone who can be actually playing this game, really i can`t.As for the licenced teams some friend who is having an UNPATCHED version of WE 9 told me, that it has inside Man Utd official kits!I can`t confirm it yet but i will be searching to find out if that is true.
