Oddly, although at a glance his stats don't look as good as Lawrenson or Carey's, auto-sorting the formation gives McGrath and O'Leary as Classic Ireland's first choice CB combination (which is arguably as it should be). Also: his appearance is really a tough one, your one is much better than what I had, so please let me know if you have any suggestions for any of the other players I created.
And thanks for Jennings: great to see that strange long special hairstyle being used
And as for Rush... uncanny :huh:

I'm looking forward to Classic Hungary when they are finished (thanks to yourself and YV84).

And finally, would it be helpful if I posted a Classic Liverpool index? I don't want to clutter-up the thread with unnecessary stuff :innocent:

Hi Donalinho, great to hear from you about the latest additions. Mcgrath's consistancy was far greater than his ability so I based the ratings around that, he is an excellent defender in the game I found. I wouldn't worry too much about the formation and the best team, everyone who plays the game has their own style.

I will add the team link to the index if you have finished and please feel free to do more, i.e. Liverpool.

One thing I fear though... you will have WE10 soon and we will not benefit from your creations until PES6.

Never fear, I'm playing WE9 right now, all the editing is the same, except for some of the special hairstyles are numbered differently.
The only thing I'm worried about is not being able to upload my WE9 option file to WE10. The thought of changing all those names from Japanese again...

EDIT: Sorry, I misunderstood your point there. Look at it another way: I can keep you informed about changes to the editing system and begin the process of updating for Evo6. The only prob with editing on WE is that when I return home from Korea and play Evo again, I won't be able to use my WE option file (if that makes sense).

Well to answer your question...

At the moment I'm working on:

Finishing Classic Hungary, classic Benfica,the better apps for about 50 more classic players in the game, starting classic Croatia/Serbia & Montenegro, classic Porto, classic Portugal, classic Spain, classic Man U, putting the whole thread in a option file, end of semester exams and a social life including a slightly demanding gf.

So all I will say sullivan, is sorry!

(Chelsea will be made at some point, you have my word on that)

You'll find the majority of the players at the index on the first page. Myself & YV84 have worked on Classic Hungary and posted the majority of the players. A few more are yet to be done before I post the squad soon.

Oops, sorry, I just thought off the top of my head that he might have been in one of the earlier games. Probably not, now I think of it.
To be honest, there are at least a dozen more players who should be added to the squad to make it fully representative. Hopefully, the likes of Phil Neal, Ray Kennedy, Jim Beglin, Tommy Smith, Phil Thompson, Glen Hysen, Terry McDermott, Steve McMahon, John Wark, Sammy Lee, Jimmy Case, Alan Kennedy, Ian Callaghan, Ian St John, John Toshack, Craig Johnson and Ronnie Rosenthal (among others) will be posted over time.
If so, I'll add them to the index as they appear.
