How many of you guys have a max drive? I was thinking of maybe including all these players in classic teams and releasing it for ps2 for pes5. Obviously this is a big project and would take about six months.

Also the list of all players posted on the first page should they be sorted by alphabetically or by nationality? Let me know...........

HammerMan, the PES Shop players usually aren't the same. The Japanese version has more Asian players, but Konami leaves them out for the game's Western versions. The absence of the Asian players in PES might leave room for a few more classic footballers.
Krookwk, I don't have a max drive, and it doesn't make much difference to me how the players are indexed -- I can follow it either way. Alphabetic listing might be a little bit more helpful, though, given the issues with some players who switched nationalities (like Kubala) or played for countries that don't exist any more.

Good point about the confusing nationality, beasley. The max drive idea is something I was thinking of doing when all the players are done, but that's gonna be a hell of a long time! Anyway I don't think it would work for you anyway as you don't live in Europe.

hello krookwk,
just a post to say that the alphabetical order will yhe easier for tyhe majority, I can give you my opinion that putting the player by team could be great too (for example masopust and panenka in the classic czekoslovakia). but do like you feel.
i add that i've not maxdrive.
Tomorrow (i hope) i'll post the last 3 player of hungary 54(i've created them for a while in PES 4): J.Toth,Zakarias an Budai(titular all the world cup but the coach prefer Toth for the final, judging him in better form, at this time there is no changing possible during the game).

Gerd Muller, we have ever speak about this problem of size, as they are old players, all the site have not the same, when I've create the Hungary 54 six month ago, I took the first size that i found on the net.
Like i've ever said, you put the size that you want and even if you want change some stat you can, it's my version of a player, i don't have the "universal verity" about classic

Just want to second what you said about changing height/weight/stats, it is up to user, if they feel that something is not right then they can always change it.
I welcome criticism and long as points are valid I will listen. I do like people to tell me what they think of my creations, especially if you think i've got them wrong.
Only 19 days to go till PES5, I can't wait!

To answer you question, it would probably be best to wait until PES5. Will you get it at the same time as me (October 20th), where do you live?
As this is now the ultimate classic player thread if we can get as many players on here as possible, the better! (As long as the players are worth doing, obviously classic players span back from 100 years!)
As for the players you have already done, are you going to update their appearances for PES5? I can always do it if you don't want to.
At the moment I'm doing more research on players ready for PES5. Anyway, I'll continue to post a few more players later and some in the next few weeks while we count the days till PES5.
