404: jose altafini "mazzola" : palmeiras, milan, napoli, juventus
One of only four players to have appeared in a World Cup Finals series for two different countries - the others are Luis Monti (Argentina 1930 and Italy 1934), Ferenc Puskas (Hungary 1954 and Spain 1962) and Jose Santamaria (Uruguay 1954 and Spain 1962) - Altafini was a no-nonsense centre-forward; he was nicknamed `Mazzola' because of his resemblance to the Italian player of the late 1940s. He represented Brazil at the 1958 tournament, where his display of power earned him a transfer to AC Milan, who insisted he play for the Italian national side in 1962.
now I wonder if the mazzola in classic italy is sandro mazzola or jose altafini "mazzola"???
