You raised some interesting points about Johnny Carey.
Regarding the "Positioning" special ability, I had thought that a few defenders had this ability, but, having checked it out properly, the only ones I can find who do are Beckenbauer, Cocu and Sorin, as well as Krookwk's Manfred Kaltz.

From the limited footage I've seen of him I didn't think he was particulary fast and the research I did never mentioned anything about his speed.
How much do you suggest I should put up for his speed and acceleration?

** I watched my 1962 Champions League Final match DVD between Benfica and Real Madrid, which ends 5-3 to Benfica, over and over. But only yesterday have I noticed Simões's performance. He made his international debut in that game. What a debut! He was only 18 years old and he played a hell of a match. I raised his FK and Weak Foot stats a bit because he was the main corner kick taker, both on the right and on the left side, despite being left-footed. His right foot accuracy was amazing, although I noticed that most Benfica players played very well with their worst foot! Maybe this was normal at that time, I don't know. Anyway, if you have any comments/suggestions, you are most welcome!
