I've got to step 6 in the guide, but when i open Apache 2 and try to update the O_Sound.AFS file i get an error telling me that my edited O_Sound.AFS file needs to be the same size (as the default file) to overwrite. The size of my file is actually smaller than the one i'm trying to overwrite.
Help anyone?
Hmm. That's very strange. :shocking: But there's quite a lot of information you haven't posted.
Firstly, are you trying to edit the music for the PC version or the PS2 version of PES5?
And also, make sure you're using AFS Explorer to import your created ADX files into your AFS file. I'm using AFS Explorer v3.7.
But, I can't honestly see how you're modified O_SOUND.AFS file can be smaller than the original one. If you insert ADX files that are smaller than the default ones, then AFS Explorer automatically adds zeros (at the end of the imported ADX file) so that it meets the minimum filesize requirements.
You're definitely doing something wrong here but you have to tell me exactly what steps you took before you got the "new file smaller than default file" error.
So can you please post exactly what you did before you got that error message and I can get back to you.

I've managed to sort out all the music in the game apart from the annoying music when editing - it says in the music file list that its in O_TEXT.AFS and is called unknow_09038.adx but i can't seem to access it with dkz studio or game graphic studio . Anyone know how to change it (and i have searched the forum btw)
Yes. Use AFS Explorer. :erm:
It takes a while for AFS Explorer to load all the files that are located in the O_TEXT.AFS file. And note that there are hundreds of files located in this particular AFS file.
Use the "Find" menu to look for the "unknow_09038.adx" file. Then simply replace the old file with your new one.
