Was going to get 2K16 but I'm not really that much of a hardcore basketball fan to warrant a £40 purchase.

FIFA 16. Will be going back to 15 until they patch this god fucking awful gameplay.

FIFA 16 (enjoying Career Mode, I love the challenge of the tougher gameplay, reminds me of PES 5 in a way... I got a ton of 0-0 draws at the very beginning).

NBA 2K16- playing on 'rookie' mode- I don't know much about the various strategies- my wife says that I play 'street ball.' / -: This year people are raving about NBA Live 16, I might get it around Black Friday... hopefully I won't cop too much grief. / -: I'll probably get NHL 16 once the price has been reduced somewhat...

Rory McIlroy PGA Tour- (when it was first released) I play that against my wife, and it's usually a very close game.

Played NBA16 with EA Access and it was actually quite decent, much better than last years game. But still very far behind 2k.

Apparently it has been patched since, but it could a 'placebo effect'- I'm sure I'll learn more before Black Friday. For the record, I hated the demo- stupid 'floaty' passes and crazy animations aplenty...

Yeah, NBA 2k will always be above what EA offer. 2k have done an awesome job with the series.

Rory McIlroy PGA was such a big disappointment for me, after the really good last PGA Tour game on PS3.

I'm enjoying the PGA game, I remember PGA Tour Golf on the Megadrive/Genesis system, that's one of my all-time favourite games.

I've never played real golf, so I'm happy with this year's game; I read that a lot of content is apparently 'missing', but I don't miss what I never had. ; -)

I like the various control methods, and the graphics are really good. They've recently added another course (Eagle Lake (I think)), I'm finding it to be quite a fun game. I'm sure they'll expand the game next year, that's typically how EA Sports operates with 'new' consoles...

I plead ignorance, I don't know what I'm missing!

NHL 16 a few weeks ago- it's far better than last year's edition, I'm really enjoying it!

Rory McIlroy PGA was such a big disappointment for me, after the really good last PGA Tour game on PS3.

They've added another fantasy course, more courses to come, game fixes and Skins mode is coming fairly shortly. I'll give them credit for supporting the game, I'm having some great games with my wife- she's had a hole-in-one, and got the 'nothing but cup' trophy... humiliating! Hahaha

Quite a few since I was last here, but the most recent of note being Fallout 4 (many hours lost there!) And Starpoint Gemini 2 . The latter only recently available on Xbone. They've done a good job with the controls, gameplay is more relaxed than Elite: Dangerous (if you die you can reload a prior save, rather than just losing everything) and if you can put up with the occasional stuttering during travel it is a rewarding experience.

Was going to wait until next august or so, but it's £23 which is the price I was hoping to buy it for eventually, so may as well get it now.

Of course not. The skylanders games are a guilty pleasure of mine. I don't buy extra figures and shit though :folarm:
