I am a winging git sometimes - but this gets on my nerves. You are playing online against someone who presses the button to skip through the replays. Fair enough I think and I do likewise.

Then - normally when they go 1-0 up they decide to linger on EVERY near miss they have or shot into Row Z - and still whizz through yours.

Picky I know - but it still gets on my nerves.

What player IN GAME habits wind you up? I'm not talking about picking Brazil at the start.... more like passing the ball around at the back or time wasting by the goalie holding on to it......

This is one of my fave things to do! It is SOOOO annoying, but it is the art of football. Keeping hold of the ball and drawing the opposition out. Plus it annoys the hell out of your opponent!:D

I had one guy who took the whole 60 seconds to make 3 subs, he done this like twice and ontop of all that, he watched every replay, every miss, offside, goals (even mine)

Yeah sometimes there really isn't anywhere else to go except across the backline as the midfield is usually too packed to pass it forward. I just tend to keep the ball moving until something opens up.

Building up play is fine - this is real football. I'm talking about going 1-0 up after 15mins and then trying 2 run the clock down passing it left & right across the back 4 and to the keeper. And when the keeper has it in his hands do his "fancy dan shuffle" around the penalty area before dropping it to his feet and wasting more time.

Grrrrr.....

What REALLY annoys me is when people close their game (by pressing alt+tab and clicking the red X in the corner) when they are just about to lose the game.

I was AC Milan and I scored the winning goal (it was 1-1) in extra time in the final few seconds. He just quit the game and it made me lose connection so I didn't get my points! :(

This happend 3 times in a row yesterday. I wish there was a way to report these people or stop people from quiting once a match is started.

Can you not block them? I'm not sure what way it works on pc but I'm sure it's much the same as ps2. I had some guy on last night threatening to 'rape me in the ass' before his connection gave out. Easy 3-0 victory it turned out.

These jokers make me roar with laughter, how the hell is he going to do that, the idiot, I am glad you got your points. The only problem I see is that there are just too many of them, and you can not tell until it is too late. I also think that if somebody has taken the time to enter these insults in to there in game chats then they are nothing more than idiots anyway, but again you do not find out until in game.

We people should be playing amongst ourselves where possible, I am sure there is more than enough quality to keep us all entertained!

I had this guy when I went Porto, he picked Porto and then he picked the same kit as me, I was pissed off but I had the radar on so that helped, went 2-0 up in the first half, second half was laggy as fuck so all I had to do was pass it with my defence cause I could barely move.

Have you had this one? You have just played a great game with someone, had a great connection (finally, after MANY crappy&laggy games), creating a lot of opportunities, won shots stats even(and probably have lost 0-1 as I seem to do a lot and wondering what the heck...). You are eager to have a rematch and then... bye, see you, the other guy leaves. I seem to have a quite a lot of this. Is it just that they are afraid of losing the next game, want just the next victim or what?

I know what you mean but I can accept this as I do it a lot myself. I only really do it because I want to have a smoke or go to the toilet or something after every few games (Medical advice says take regular breaks!). Just remember their name and challenge them at a later time.

I see your point. The reason why it is so annoying is that I have a really good connection so rarely (1 in 10 or something) even with green conncetion (I am in Finland). The last time I played a couple nights ago, I played only with green connection. Still, there are lagging/slow down issues. When you finally have a connection that is close to optimal (meaning offline) situation, it is usually a great plaeasure to play. Not that many "dirty" goals for the opponent!

When I first played online, when there were something like 15K registered players, I was so amazed how well it worked. Now, that kind of quality connection is so rare for me. And I have played over 200 games...

Scorpion what you said about the 15k players happened to me too. Only that i got the game a day before it was officially out, and there were only like 500 users.

It was incredibly smooth and i thought it was too good to be true, it was.

Anyway, i think people leave after beating you because if they beat you the first time, and get about 50 points, when they replay you and beat you again, they'll only get about 30-.

Best thing to do is play on one of the other servers. I played law_order the other night on server 3, his connection was yellow but the game was pretty smooth surprisingly.

i always play people with yellow arrows and 99% of the games are really smooth.

i never really had any serious problems...
the only time i remember having a hard time,was two days ago when my opponent's connection was ...green!!!

However,when choosing opponent,yellow is more than enough for me...
Even on Server 1(which is really crowded..),things are pretty good...

really? I had a nightmare with a yellow one night and vowed not to play it again. yours was the best connection so far on yellow.

LOL all funny! what annoys othre people the most is my "stick to FIFA" taunt. It's great when you get the match winning goal very late on or when you beat someone who's a lot better than you.

maybe you were just unlucky and found people that were downloading stuff while playing with you...
i don't see any reason why i don't have any problems with "yellow people" and you do...
I think you should give a chance to yellow connections again....lol...
