no way you could have got cardozo at 19 and improve him that well
i have started a new ML and i started with :
GK - Lewis - 16 years old - improves well
CF - Baunjohann - 17 years old - imporves great
MF - CARDOZO - 20 YEARS OLD - IMPROVES SH!T

Rooney, Fabregas, and Pique are all going through the roof for me. I also bought Vincent Kompany too, but he's not really improving nearly as fast as Pique in a back three.

Shaun Wright Phillips gets pretty good too!!! Gravesen is amazing in the game if you want a defensive mid with some technique, and at 29 his stats are still the same. Don't buy Robert Green GK his stats go up really slowly.

I'm gonna buy Baumjohann, Farfan and Cordozo on your recommendations. Any advice on a young couple of full backs as I'm thinking of swithcing to 4-4-2.

Also anyone know if Stuart Downing LM gets any good. I want to get some more English guys into my line up, don't want to go completely Chelsea 2000/01.

Do not buy Cardozo he does not improve well at all even though i started my ML with him he is crap!
I had Stewy Downing on my old ML and he did well and i have to say well worth buying. As well as Baumjohann = top class

He was only 18 when i found him. Within 2yrs, now his lowest stat is his defence, at 72. Got quite alot of stats in Red, dribbles well, tackles well... He is a complete player! His developement will peak into the Red zone....

Cant see why he's a lousy player..

how did you find him at 18 i chose him at the start of the ML and he is 20.

Yea Cardozo is 17 on the start of mine, cruisin now age 24 absolutely unbelievable with Baumjohann and Farfan. Might have to alter my formation get all 3 on the pitch cause some havoc!

eh thats really strange but this has happened to me before with Adu with a different age.he started off as 18 i think. but i just started a new ML just to check Cardozos age and he is 20 could anyone help maybe explain the problems i have been having with ages. ??

I see almost everyone is buying Kompany. But you have to buy Vanden Borre (Anderlecht) a right side back. His stats improve amazing! If you want a good striker buy Legaer (Anderlecht). If you let him play he becomes very good! Dribble stat now is 97!

It's because Kompany's been linked to Chelsea and Arsenal. We're quite narrow minded here. I'm looking for some good young full backs in my third season, any ideas?

I've got this new keeper called Reck, aged 17, his keeping and defence skills are rubbish now (70 & 71), but he has 99 power, jump and response already, go figure. He's awful at crosses now though, but getting better (stats were at 64 & 65).

Ometan's a great buy too, Him and Fabregas own the centre of midfield in my game. There's a right winger who's French called Djorkjaeff, after a few seasons I found him. I think it's Jourri Djorkjaeff's replacement after retiremnet, but the guy is so much taller and bigger built. Anyway, my point is that he's amazing after 1 and a half seasons. 99 for power, acceleration and top speed. No-one can win the ball off him.
