I'm playing with an edited team against the computer and I simply cannot thread any through balls with my AMC to my attacker(s).
The tactic that I use is mostly 4-4-2, with the midfield consisting of two DMs, one wing-attacker and one AM behind the front-two. The playmaker has got passing and playmaking as special skills and the strikers have both got lines, positioning, scoring etc. as special skills, yet they make no forward runs when my AMC has got the ball. Everytime I try a through ball, it ends up at the defending team. Not a single pass puts an attacker away one-on-one with the keeper, eventhough the attackers have runs forward and diagonally aswell.
My question is, what do I need to do to formation-wise, or other, to put my pacey attackers away on goal. This was easy in the previous versions of the game but not in this one, except when playing against a human player, who obviously makes mistakes, something the computer seems unable to do when marking your players?
I won't rest until this is sorted, so for the sake of all things good, help me out!!
