Throw ins

when you are the one throwing the ball in, is there a way to make your players on the pitch move around? Because on defense you could move and get infront of the offensive players and this makes it very hard to do anything off throwins unless you throw it long and get lucky.

Dont think so.
They remove the barriers but dont enable you to do anything after.

Right stick would be a good idea Konami..... No...... Ok then.

LOL exactly! because you are at such a disadvantage as the team throwing in. Your guys on the pitch just stand there while the defending player could put his player directly infront of yours and just steal the ball. It got to the point that I rather have them throw in the ball and me be the defender so I could get it back :faceplm:

Circle on PS3 gives you a big throw that you can direct not at the 2 guys right in front of you. Still tricky to find an open player, but its more options.

I find quick throws usually work pretty well. Also passing the ball straight back to the thrower too.

another thing were konami did half a job by moving the barrier but then just left the 2 players stood a yard away, staring at the player with the opposition stood behind them!

just put the throw in quickly. I like the system because its realistic but it would be nice if you could also control the person who is intended to receive the ball.

The thing that really gets me is when you force a throw in right in the corner of the end you are attacking. Great if I can steal the ball then maybe I can steal a cheaky goal.
Screen comes up and my players are miles away. I run to get there and they clear it. That is not realistic.

Oh Konami why do you hurt me so so much, so so often.

I find quick throws usually work pretty well. Also passing the ball straight back to the thrower too.

Pressing circle is fine for the long throw in, but the problem then is, too much height on it allowing the opposition to nip in and steal it again. Does anybody know how you can put speed on the throw- ins. In the future i hope Konami can can give you the option to take quick throw-ins.

Just allow the offensive player getting the ball to move just like the defensive player and it would be perfect.... maybe a patch?

I would love a patch for this, plus the refs, plus the bug for team edit, plus the dodgy keepers, plus the attacking AI, plus the AI in general but as you can see (and I havent mentioned all the issues) this would take Konami years.

All this expected for PES 2011 (thought they will probably change a whole host of other things)

Test the game before you release it Konami and these things wouldnt happen. Is that really such a stupid idea?

Although if they added player movements the ball would never reach a moving player (play 2v2 you'll see) so it's fucked either way

Think it sux that when cpu has throw in and i place my player in front of their nearest man and they execute a long throw and there's ALWAYS one of their players running up the line to get it..
