Throwing the Ball

How do you make keepers throw long quick balls for counterattack??? Everytime he catches it he seldoms throws it.
If so only to a defender.
How do you make him throw half a field long, like professionals do???
Which stat is it? (I haven't seen keeper stats)

You can only very rarely throw it that far and it would depend on where the players are position. Almost all the throws will go to players close to the keeper.

In PES4 I'd like to see buttons for:

:s-x: throw the ball to a defender (as it does now)

:s-triang: throw the ball far

:s-square: kick the ball far (as now)

:s-L2: drop the ball for dribbling/passing.

as far as keepers go, id like to see editable kits (already confirmed for we7i) and all the stuff seen above.

id also like a new keeper animations, there aint enuf.

For more advanced gaming, why not have a key for a manual dive, like for example :s-R1: and the directional button (down-left, up-right etc.) for him to dive in that direction?

I'll also like extra keys for tipping over, spreading himself over the goal (spread-eagled save), releasing and others.

u can control the keeper on pes3.. just nobody knows how to do it well.

Also, you should be able to throw the ball quicker. Because now it feels it takes a couple of seconds before you can move the keeper. They also tend to fall a lot more often than in real life.

yeah. maybe a system like this:

as soon as the keeper gets the ball in his hands, he can do this:

throw with a power bar, like shooting. and direct by pressing up and down, like now.

kick with a power bar, same thing again.

drop the ball and run with it.

Sounds like a great system to me. Would remove a lot of the frustration you feel when you miss out on counters.

yeah, would be good to catch the ball from a corner and hold down x and up an throw it to the halfway line, out on the wing.

it would create faster moving games.

im always a counter attacking player when i play pes, my dad hates it, he has a shot and then im flying down the wing, 2 or 3 passes and then a shot and its in the net
