Thru balls are terrible this year. For starters they dont go through, they just go slightly ahead of the player. And because the player only jogs along side he would of been better off being passed to feet. They normally go straight to a defender first anyway.
It seems to be impossible to direct them this year. They just go where they want.
Yup. This is very true and I would have thought it would be impossible to argue against this....but
Hi, i don't know how to teach you in using through ball. But one thing for sure the through ball in pes 2010 just brilliant nd realism( IMO ). i'm really satisfy when my AM able to make a nice through ball to my upfront both striker. I believe the through ball system not so perfect when apply in overhead through ball or winger play.
and also...
I agree. In order to succeed a thru ball you need to have a good passer. If you try to do it with anybody, it will fail. And I think this makes it more real.
and even....
Have to be honest, ive had my criticism of this game particularly online but I think the through ball is back to its best so to speak. It now feels good when you get it right, in previous versions the thru ball was just used as a get out, now it needs skill and timing, however I accept it is a bit frustrating if you are using lesser players from smaller teams and they cant do it which is harsh
It is amazing how you always get dozens of people all to ready to defend the most indefensible flaws in this game spinning all kinds of bollocks ranging from 'it makes it more real', to, 'you have got to press the R2 button two times whilst tapping your head' in order to perform a good thru ball.
The thru ball in PES2010 is fucking shocking. No excuses and no bollocks about needing good passing players or having to time it right. The thru-ball has been deliberately quadra-spazzed with the aim to maintaining balance in the gameplay. If the thru balls worked like they should or even worked like they would if I myself was on the park playing the ball, then probably PES 2010 would be another ProEvo game characterised by rugby scores and exploit gameplay. It seems that Konami are not smart enough to fix the games defensive flaws by making the defensive AI smarter, so they have opted for disabling elements of the attacking AI, namely thru-balls and dribbling/close control.
anyone who disagrees with me is a stupid cunt.
