Tips On Shooting Outside Box We7

Does anyone have any tips on how to shoot from outside the box, say 24m?

I like to run through the middle then take a shot. Any tips?

When should i start to press the shoot button. When the ball is close to my feet?

If im running from left to right, i tend to just hold right on the control pad throughout the kick. Is that a good idea?

C'mon people send your ways of shooting, lets get some different ways of shooting.

shooting in mid-run kills your accuracy quite a bit. slow down, strike it at mid to mid-high power, and hope for the best.

try using sum1 wif high power for shooting n just press :square: not more than half of the meter

Try cutting to the side just before shooting. So if your shooting with a right-footed player cut to hsi right then shoot, should be more accurate.

Shoot when there's space in frontta you.

When people least expect it.

Or when they're expecting a cross.

Ive found that if u want to let some real flyers go from about 25-30yrds, you should press up and diagonally right/left to put some top hard power on it and try and keep it down.

How do you keep it down???

Do you hold down after shooting?

my main tip would be
1. dont do it
2. get lucky

its almost pointless to do unless you are hoping for a rebound

Yes you're right.

I try to do it only once or twice a game.

Because if you keep trying unsuccessfully, you will turn frustrated.

And when you finally score after shooting everytime you have the ball, there wouldn't be much joy.

If the ball goes loose outside the penalty area, and you have a player about to run onto it, press :square: early, well before your man gets to the ball. Only tap :square: though. Works a treat with someone with high Shot Power stats, ie Gerrard or Oliseh.
The player will twat the ball, even if your power bar is way less than 1/4!

Tried it with Scholes before, side netting or across goal.

Hardly on target, but it can be done

i dont know why 'CtrlAltDel' said that scoring outside the box is practically impossible, i can score outside the box many times, yes sometimes it doesnt go in but ive been hitting goals outside the box like reyes since i got the game. maybe your not pulling your shots down after you hit them? i tend to push up and add some curl to the shot but as its heading goal bound i pull down and bring the shot down cus as we all know a bit too much power and the balls gonna come down with snow on it!

I love the way we can score from far in PES3

Altho it's not that simple.

Really it's a feature FIFA will never have.

Their goals seem a bit smaller too

And yes, I do try to cudl my shots as you have mentioned, gg

Glad to see someone else noticed that, Fifa's goals are smaller and so to counter this they make goalkeeping AI ridiculously poor (keepers like to try backflipping instead of just holding their arms up to stop a ball). Long shots in fifa 2004 are ridiculously easy, unlike PES.
I prefer the lay off myself, getting a striker to pass it back to a midfield player who then hammers it first time is really effective. You can often score from over 30 yards with this although accuracy is almost non existant and you have to make the original pass perfect

i always shoot juz outside the box, around 23-27m... important thing to note is to let fly the shot with yr main feet. running shot also decrease yr accuracy, but more power.
