Tips & Tactics for 5 minute matches

What kind of tactics would you use in 5 minute matches against good PES3 players?

All out attack?
Defend like mad and hope to win 1-0?

What kind of formation would you use?
I'm thinking of using a modified 3-5-2.

I'm not going and don't play 5 min matches so I have no advice, sorry.....

Practice a menacing "look" & don't wash for a couple of days before-hand.

I play a very patient, passing game keeping an eye out for that cheeky ball over the top of the defenders & into the path of the forwards run.

I also use the wings alot, whipping the ball in for the powerful header that leaves the keeper with no chance.

Although the most important thing IMO is not rushing into the tackles because when I do the CPU ( and any decent player ) pulls my players all over the place & then slips the ball through the gaps then BAMM I'm a goal down and chasing the game, which leads to more rushed play and potentially more leaked goals - bit of a vicious circle !!!

Also, remaining calm and always believing I can score is my mentality trick.

I always play 3-4-3. Centre attacker hanging slightly back feeding the main front two - Imagine Bergkamp feeding Henry & Reyes.

Thanks for those tips. Been practicing playing 5 mins.
Hopefully I'll qualify for the knockout stages where the matches are a sensible 10 matches each

I use a modified 4-1-2-1-2 tactic. it's like this

it's just something basic. I also like to have the left and right mids attack up the wings. The diamond is great for a good passing that can slip through the middle of a defense.

i also suggest this, more an attacking tactic.

I generally just use a 4-4-2 and then tweak individual player positions depending on who you've got.

I pride myself on my defence so I barely ever let in more than one goal so that way you have to play a passing game and be patient and wait for a breakthrough. I also try to use pacey players wherever possible for a quick counter-attack.

Otherwise, I whole heartedly agree with the above suggestions, and would only add KEEP IT SIMPLE STUPID!!

Don't overcomplicate things - it's only 5 mintes each way, you can't afford to be buggerising around. And counter-attack like there is no tomorrow
