I bought PES3 on one of the first days it was on sale. Have played it ever since, and still learning! Decided to have a go on PES1 a couple of weeks ago and found it a big bag of bollox. Tonight decided to have a rip of PES2. After all it was only 4 weeks ago I was editing my team, darting past the defence to bang a goal in the top right hand corner of the goal to win the international cup!!! "We are the champions ringing thru my ears" as we see bullshit highlights of my team scoring imaginary goals!

I have just played PES2 again....... Sadly to say this game is a big bag of GOBSHITE! It really is a big bag of piss! This is how Konami have managed to monopolise (big word) the footballing market with such a big game like PES3. I can not believe I played PES2 over a month ago and thought it was the bees-knees of soccer games. The play is pretty shite. Passing crap and the goals scored !!! (I can not believe I scored the greatest goal ever a month ago) with a piss-poor game such as PES2. and that game waas better than any FIFA game ever played.

DOES ANYONE FEEL THAT I AM CORRECT. If you haven't played PES2 since playing the new game then play it for a lugh! Then post a real reaction to it here! IT IS SHITE! HONEST.

Decided to have another go incase I got my judgement wrong! I wasn't. PES2 is a big bag of F-words in a single sentence. Don't get me wrong it was a brilliant game literally a month ago. Now I will use the disc as a tea coaster! DIE-HARD FANS of FIFA soccer must feel like they have been banged in the ARSE by an England International on duty! NEVER MIND!!

I agree completely. Only I can't be bothered going back to Pes2, It's just such a waste of valuable Pes3 time. Pes2 was way to unbalanced and had to many sweet spots. Haven't noticed those in Pes3 yet.

it's true that pes3 is better but u can't laugh with pes2.it is a great game and we all have great memories of that game.

It's quite amazing how it can be such an improvement on PES2. We might be saying how rubbish PES3 seems compared to PES4 when the time comes....no, surely not... ;)

that shows that Konami are always on the right path...every sequel is really a step up.......
fifa fans think fifa RTWC 98 is still the best in the fifa series...6 yrs of no improvements.... are we blessed or what?

one thing i hate on pes3 is the goalkeeper animations, i used to love on pes2 when i hit a long range screamer just over and the goalie would dive in a very realistic way.

on pes3 the animations for goalkeepers are shite!!

I like the way the they brought back the goalkeepers reaction when they have pulled off a good save and have a go at the defenders. The last time I saw this musta been in ISS. I also agree that the diving saves don't look as spectacular as in the previous PESs but the shot-stopping is much better.

I had a Tournie a week ago with the big heads in my year who thought they were the best at Pro Evo. Trouble was it was on PES2. During the games, I realised how much better PES3 is, and it actually PAINED me to play PES2. I couldn't dribble or shoot to save my life. And the less said about my set pieces the better.

Still got to the final though but lost :( We seeded players and I got Spain. Man they're doggy poo (excluding Raul).

you knob cheese, pes 3 is better, but they wouldnt have it without pes 1 and 2, pes3 is just an upgrade

what do u call ur first desktop computer in year 1990 if u compare with today's computers? when u use it in 1990 u said it was the best thing on earth. Now u try to use it again, u will say it's CRAP.

Not necessarily. Your example yeah easy. Take film sequels for instance. They are the latest installment, yet rarely do you get a sequel as good as the original
