Actually, I won the World Cup on PES3 (5*) with Wales a couple of nights ago. It was a tough final against England and I won it with a silver goal. Bellamy and Giggs to the rescue!

I'd like to play you sometime gaza but we are just a little too far apart. Maybe we'll see each other in the PES3 league sometime....

I think they are about the same really. I'll continue to play PES3 as most people I'd play against will be playing that too. Plus I prefer the English commentary. Other than that, the patches for both are virtually the same.

I've played 5 star matches since I got the game, and won ever game since Wednesday.I've been on this site a while and you all know I don't just say things to impress, but the only thing I've not been able to do is the dribble challenge on level 5.My best win is 4-0

no honestly its too easy.

master league is a challenge when you play with all the crap starting players, but even then I don't concede any goals. Computer just doesn't attack!

the difficulty needs to go up to 10 star

This is bollocks; there's people moaning that it's too hard and now people saying it's too easy.
You just can't please some people.

Mind you, if you truly find the game easy on 5* then i suggest you enter yourself into the national PES 3 compo, because you must be a seriously shit-hot player.

As much as I hate to say it, the guy that made the original post is right. I can easily beat 5-star in Exhibition matches or in Tournaments, although I do find even 4-star troublesome in the Master League, and the Master League does have great longevity, so I suppose this saves the game for now.

However, once I've acquired some more quality players, things could start to get a bit easy even in here. I'm hoping not, as I really do want a challenge out of the game.

It's easily the best football game I've ever played, and I might even go as far as to say it's the best game I've played ever, but right now, it's just a tad too easy in every area that isn't the Master League. Oh, and the Challenge Training is quite difficult as well, and I haven't quite fully completed it yet.

Well,I have won 6 and lost 2 in masterleague division two in my first season, and am in the cup final, hard but I'm able to get the winner, and I've put all the general settings to the hardest you can get them

The guy is entirely correct. They have made the computers players more challenging in terms that it is now much harder to score against them in my opinion. However, they dont attack with any sort of pace. Every time the computer crosses the half way line I dont feel like they will score unless James makes his usual cock up when trying to catch one of their soft headers.

Is it rue that adjusting formations makes no difference? I was hoping to change its strategy and push a few more players forward. At the moment I find defending computer attacks quite boring actually.

I admit - i have not won all my games, but at the same time, I think I've played France 3 times on 5* so far and havent conceded a goal to them.

The reason why ML is hard to start off with is because you are given an underpar team, so for the first couple of seasons it's obviously gonna be tough. Certainly tougher than playing with Zidane and Henry and such. It also depends whether your playing nationals or clubs. National games are tighter coz uve got the best players from that country playing together. Club teams are more open coz of the mixture of talent throughout the team. I might be stating the obvious but no1 has posted this. May not even be relevant. Maybe he's on fully automatic. No seriously, there players like him around who can beat the system.

i could play someone like brazil on 5 star, with all their players on red arrows and they would hardly get near my net. I admit i wouldnt win 5-0 or anything but its usually 2 or 3 nil.

I not saying this to say 'HEY IM THE BEST' or anything, but im really dissapointed with the computers difficultly levels.

in master league its hard to score with all the players you start off with but even then the computer doesnt score!

every game is either 1-0 to me or 0-0!

I now play with 3 at the back simply because defenders are not needed!

in PES2, the computer didnt really attack and was really poor at finishing but in PES3 its even worse!

I agree m8.The attacking by the computer is shite.Even when you fiddle with formations. You find yourself willing the computer to score.Just to tell yourself its a tough game.Im sure the multi player is were the enjoyment lies. But all my friends are Fifa fans. The game playes better In exibition mode were all your team is on shit condition,And all the computers team are The dogs bollox. Its a shame you cant set this option in tournaments.
I think the ps1 games were a lot more addictive.I mean how many times do you want to win the master leeg.I hope this game will grow on me,as i have waited to long for it to be released.
