Basibeloy - 86 - do you know him? He's a CB from Panama, named Felipe Baloy.
He played here in Portugal, and he's not that "good".

Point is, CBs, RBs and LBs have really high overalls; in the other end, attackers have low overalls: Luuk de Jong is 67.

But that doesn't mean CFs are worse than CBs... Torres can overcome Barton easily most of the times, because that's pretty high for a CF, he's faster, controls the ball better, etc.

For a CF is more important to be a beast (Michel from Benfica is 78, but he should be rated as a 70 at max.) than to be a fast player like Torres or Tevez.

I know but that's just silly... can't they find some other way of balancing out the game than to cripple the forwards overall and give the defenders 90 stats? JOEY BARTON rated at 82! I still can't get over that. :S
BTW,
Just played a game against Liverpool FC with Swansea in ml and I gotta say that Joe Cole is way better than Messi according to PES. He solo dribbled through my whole midfield and defense (that's 7 players) and scored a goal by making my goalie fall down.

Torres might have a bad overall, but it does not matter. I have played around 100 games with him in mlo and he is great for me. My advice is to not care about the overall rating. Torres have good stats for a mayor striker.

The calculus for the OVERALL RATING is crap. I really don't know how KONAMI did it, but often doesn't really represent a players true ability, specially in forwards case.
You should analyze specific stats, rather then pray much attention to overalls.
