Transfers- Need help/advice

Hello all.

I'm hoping somebosy out there can lead me in the right direction.

I recently bought a PS3 and immediately bought PES 2010, the most up to date of the series. Previous to this, I had used PES 6 and had updated the players via the games register player feature. This meant that although obviously the PES series was moving on, my PES 6 was at least up to date with players, kits etc.

Now I have PES 2010 and thought I could do the same thing. But when I try and register players, the system has changed considerably.

For example, this morning, I tried to transfer Vieira to his new home at Manchester City. But in order to do so, I have to send a Manchester City player to Inter! Is there a way that I can transfer players without having to do this to-ing and fro-ing of players?

Because Manchester City will be completely out of date by the end of the transfer window. As will many clubs.

Please, any help and advice would be greatly appreciated.

in this case:

you have to go to mancity! there you select the first option, so that you can transfer any player from any team to mancity!

think it's too simple to see it!

I have gone into the editor. Selected Man City from the Edit Team section and my first option is Game Plan. There is nothing about transferring players.

im german so i dont really know how its called in your version.

but in the player-transferring section you have to select a team! then you see the whole player list of this one.
if you now select a player you can change him with another player. i think that's your problem!
but at the top of the playerlists of each team there should be an option (something like 'add player') where you can add only one player without changing!

Cant you just do this then swap one of Man City's lesser players you've never heard of befor with Veira

you need to use add player option
