Has anyone got any tips on how to sign players.
Im playing as man united reputation level is (S) and i want to sign players in the (S) and (A) categories
Any tips??????

Offer them plenty of cash and wages. And sign them for 2 year contracts to start with. Many players used to refuse anymore than 2 years on PES 08 first time transfers.

I didn't think about lowering the contract length, will look at that when i get to the close season to try & get a couple of super stars, have to offload quite a few of my squad, will probably go with swapping players plus offering cash, thats the way i did most of the bigger deals in PES 08.

But you know if your team is nearly full, some players wont want to play in that full positon, like i ave ribery, ben sahar, giovani dos santos, anelka for one positon
No matter how much i put on Ronaldinho he doesnt want to come because thats the position he plays is full.

So i think the ingame machine recognises this and doesnt want to come to a club that wont get enough play than his former club

i like stuff like this as it makes it more realistic and forces you to put more thought into your transfers like you would in football manager

Yep, very true, i love it too, it helps me limit my players and decide which one i want instead of going all in, which is real life is nearly impossible no matter how good your team and money is.

i find it eaiser to loan than buy i can never sign a player but has anyone tried this early on in the season go to tranfers go to the player u want add him to the scout list and in a couple of weeks they will send u a reoprt on the players like if they are happy at their club and if they are playing a lot of matches it does help cause if u wonder y you dont get him it may be cause he is happy at his curent club

It does make it more realistic but it makes it very frustrating when you want to sign a certain player.
I reloaded my master league 3 times last night to try and sign torres or gerrard and aguero.I have 3 strikers already rooney,tevez,berbatov.
I released a reserve so i will try and trade berbatov for a younger faster stiker.


I think everyone should have a look at Aguero his attributes are very good.

Yeh i think Aguero & Benzema are the 2 strikers to have, i have Pato as pretty much my only striker at AC Milan for me just now, need to do some wheeling & dealing, i think if a bid for Ronaldinho comes in i'll probably just accept so i can fire in bids for those 2.

But i have noticed the scouting reports & think this is a nice new touch in the master league & gives u a better idea if u are likely to gt a player which u are scouting.

i dont know, that pes game goes wacko sometimes but i mean for 5mil, i could go on my game and buy Barzagli and Ivanovic now, but i cant cause i already have them, lol

I bought two of them for less than 5mil
